some of these hit harder than i expected honestly.
1. They go quiet when you’re winning
Used to hype you up, now it’s crickets.
2. They suddenly “worry” about you
Not when you were struggling, but now that you’re doing better?
3. They ask questions but never take action
Watching everything you do, doing none of it.
4. They joke about your habits
Gym, routines, vitamins, healing… suddenly you’re “doing too much.”
5. They bring up the old you
Because the new you makes them uncomfortable.
6. They copy you, but never support you
Same moves, different energy.
7. They only show up when you’re down
Because that version of you feels safer to them.
8. They minimize what you’ve built
“It must be nice.”
yeah… it is. i worked for it.
