𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 | 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦 𝗦𝗨𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 | 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗻

Upon the directive of the Local Government Unit of Santa Barbara, through Hon. Dennis S. Superficial, MD, Municipal Mayor, 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 in all levels, both public and private schools, in the Municipality of Santa Barbara are hereby suspended today, August 18, 2026, due to inclement weather.

Schools are directed to shift to appropriate alternative learning modalities and/or distribute learning packets to ensure the continuity of learning.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to assist and guide their children in accomplishing the assigned learning activities and ensure that learning packets are completed and submitted upon the resumption of classes.

Please be guided accordingly. Stay safe, everyone!

The Boy and Girl Officials 2026 had the opportunity to meet and engage in a meaningful conversation with Mayor Doc Dennis Superficial on their first day at the Local Government Unit of Santa Barbara as counterparts to municipal officials.

The Boy and Girl Officials 2026 is part of the Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 celebration organized by the Pambayang Pederasyon ng mga Sangguniang Kabataan (PPSK) Santa Barbara, headed by Hon. Nikka Joan Suganob, PPSK President.

This year’s celebration carries the theme:
“Youth Advancing Multilateral Cooperation Through Technology and Partnerships.”

As part of the weeklong celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, the Pambayang Pederasyon ng mga Sangguniang Kabataan (PPSK) of Santa Barbara, headed by Hon. Nikka Joan Suganob, PPSK President, formally presented the Boy and Girl Officials 2026 during the Monday Flag Ceremony on August 17, 2026.

The activity provides young Santa Barbaranhons with an opportunity to experience leadership, public service, and local governance while promoting youth participation and empowerment.
