A notice has already been issued by the Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) / Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) addressed to the concerned individual regarding the restriction of visitors within the area covered by the Community-Based Forest Management Agreement (CBFMA).

All concerned are hereby advised to comply with the said letter from proper authority until further notice.

Any person found violating this notice shall be dealt with accordingly.

Official Advisory:

It has come to our attention that a certain page has been posted in several Facebook groups claiming that Abiogan Majestic Ridges is not authorized by its management.

For information and clarification, no group or management is currently authorized to legally operate activities in the area, as we are still in the process of securing all the necessary permits and documents required for such operations.

As part of the permit application process, tribal rituals and area assessments are being conducted, as these are among the necessary steps in securing the required approvals. One of the important requirements is the FREE, PRIOR AND INFORMED CONSENT (FPIC) from the Indigenous Peoples (IP) community, which must be properly observed and respected in accordance with existing IPRA laws, customs, and procedures

While we, the AMR Management is diligently following all legal guidelines, procedures, and requirements to obtain the proper authorizations for activities within the area.

There is also this another page spreading misleading information and making malicious imputations, despite likewise lacking the necessary documents or authority to operate.

We respectfully advise the public to be cautious of false or unauthorized statements being circulated online and to wait only for official announcements from a legitimate concerned agency.

Currently, the site is still in the process of completing the necessary documents and requirements for official operation. While preparations are ongoing, we kindly ask everyone to refrain from visiting the area for now.

This is to ensure safety, proper management, and a better overall experience once it officially opens.

Please be guided by the following Advance Information regarding the status of Abiogan Majestic Ridges:

RESTRICTED STATUS: The site is currently RESTRICTED to all guests, hikers, and visitors.

OFFICIAL CLEARANCE: However , please wait for the official announcement from the Municipal Tourism's Office of Impasugong , Bukidnon.

UNAUTHORIZED INVITES: Any posts or individuals currently inviting guests for day hikes are NOT authorized by the Impasugong Tourism's Office.

PENALTY FOR NON-COMPLIANCE: Please be warned that unauthorized entry is a violation of local safety protocols. Violators will be dealt with accordingly, which may include legal action or a permanent ban from the site.

We appreciate your patience as we coordinate with the proper authorities to ensure a safe and organized experience for everyone.

Next Step: We are awaiting the official green light from the Tourism Office.
