that feeling of sympathy all throughout your body after seeing this… 🥲
Every delivery comes with a difficult choice.
At just 26 years old, Tri Rama Dandi from Kolaka, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia is raising his one-year-old son, identified only as MA, on his own while working as an online motorcycle taxi rider, known locally as an ojol. Since his marriage ended in 2025, he has become both the family's only provider and his son's full-time caregiver.
Whenever a new ride or delivery request comes in, Rama leaves their small rented home to earn money. But before heading out, he relies on a CCTV camera connected to his phone so he can check on his little boy while working. The simple setup has become his way of staying close to his son even when he has no choice but to be away.
The story gained widespread attention after footage from the home's camera was shared online. The videos show the toddler lying near the front door with a milk bottle beside him, and in some moments, peeking through the gap under the door as if hoping the footsteps outside belong to his father.
For many viewers, the clips weren't just about a CCTV camera. They captured the daily reality of a parent carrying two of life's heaviest responsibilities at the same time—earning a living and raising a child. Sometimes, the strongest acts of love are the quiet ones that happen when no one is watching, except a camera and a father checking his phone.
