WHERE ARE YOU GINA?????

Where are you, Gina Gavino, Luzon, Manila, Philippine??

We are going to cancel our landline (+1604-581-###x) because Gina, the person we have been waiting for the last twenty years never call. Who use landline these days anyway.

Gina has been our beloved domestic helper, nanny to my three children before we migrated to Canada. She has chosen to go to Turkey, Netherlands... She used to call during Christmas and my second son’s birthday. She did mention she wanted to go to Calgary, Canada. However, the call stopped twenty years ago.

We are forever indebted to her for being part of our life. She shadowed me with all the housework, cooking and looking after my children while I worked and travelled extensively overseas.

She is family and we all missed her. Her birthday is June 1961. Any leads will be much appreciated.

A private car in Tuen Mun lost control and swept the fence into a shop, 4 people were injured.

At about 3 pm today (2024/11/15), a private car was driving along Lung Mun Road in Tuen Mun. When it reached the opposite side of Fu Kin Garden, the driver suspected that he failed to control the brakes in time. The vehicle shoveled onto the pavement and swept the fence, knocking down many passers-by. Then rush into an optical shop. Ambulance personnel arrived after receiving the report and found that a total of four people, including an old woman, were injured. Fortunately, they were all conscious. Police cordoned off the scene and are investigating the cause of the accident.

After a four-year, the 2024 Lunar New Year fireworks display will be held at 8 pm on Feb 11, the second day of the Lunar New Year, over Victoria Harbour to celebrate the festive season with citizens.

In the 23-minute extravaganza divided into eight scenes, total 23,888 pyrotechnic shells will be fired from three barges.

Members of the public may enjoy the display from locations such as Tsim Sha Tsui, Mid-Levels, Central, Wan Chai, Causeway Bay and Hung Hom Bypass.

12 rescued from rollercoaster at Hong Kong Disneyland!

HONG KONG – Twelve people were rescued from a rollercoaster in Hong Kong’s Disneyland after the ride stopped working on Wednesday afternoon, February 7, police and fire services said after they deployed dozens of personnel to the site.

Police and fire services were called for assistance from 3.16 pm after the Disney ride Hyperspace Mountain stopped working. No injuries have been reported and there was no smoke or fire at the scene, a police spokeswoman said.

The passengers were removed from the ride by 4.16 pm. Around 40 firefighters had been deployed to Disneyland.
