Take it as proof you’re doing something right.
𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗡 𝗦𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗣𝗜𝗘𝗦 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞 🥴
May nakita akong kumokopya ng gawa ko recently (and way before pa).
Same frameworks. Same style. No credit.
At first, I felt annoyed. Disrespected.
Like someone was stealing years of hard work and calling it their own. 😏
But then I realized something that helped me let it go:
✔️ When people copy you, it means proof.
Proof that your work is so impactful, they can't imagine a better way.
Proof that you've set a standard they're trying to reach.
Proof that you're no longer just playing the game—you're defining it.
And since nagawa ko na yung kinokopya nila, it means I can build something new again, unlimited times!
That alone is already a good reminder of what I’m capable of. ✊
Isa pang realization...
✔️ People only copy what works.
Hindi naman sila mangongopya ng hindi effective, diba?
So in a weird way, it's another kind of validation. 🙏
And here's another thing I’ve learned about being copied:
You can copy someone’s steps, but you can’t copy their soul.
Pwede mong gayahin yung words, yung format, at yung system mismo...
Pero hindi mo makokopya yung journey, lalo na yung SCARS. ❤️🩹
The late nights figuring it out from scratch.
The failures that created the system.
The team debates.
The why behind it all.
These aren’t replicable. 🙅♂️
Plus, naisip ko rin...
If what I created helped someone enough na they had to pass it on (kahit copy paste pa)...
Then maybe the message just had to reach more people, even if it didn't go through me directly.
Maybe worrying about credit was missing the bigger picture.
I can accept that.
(Though hindi ko sasabihing hindi na ko maiinis. I'm human. 😅)
So kung may nag-copy sayo recently, don't make it bigger than it is.
Take the compliment.
Smile a little.
Then go back to work.
But this time?
GO DEEPER. 🔥
Gumawa ka pa ng mas marami.
Yung mas maganda.
Yung mas impactful.
Most importantly....
Keep building something that can’t be copied—your most authentic self.
Yan yung hinding hindi nila magagaya. 🚀
