For the first time, the Perspective and Sinag are finally widening their horizons to cater and welcome fresh and enthusiastic young minds of Elementary students!

The said publications offer the following categories in the Elementary Department:

News Writing, Editorial Writing, Editorial Cartooning, Photojournalism, Radio Broadcasting, Column Writing, Feature Writing, Sports Writing, Science and Technology Writing, and Copyreading and Headline Writing.

𝗠𝗨𝗦𝗔 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀

The Marian United Students Alliance (MUSA) announced that they will start recording student latecomers tomorrow, June 22, for the current school year, as part to enforce the non-academic rules and regulations from the student handbook.

In a facebook post earlier today, students will be marked late starting at 7:11 AM and 1:11 PM on Monday, while from Tuesday to Friday, the morning cutoff will be adjusted to 7:21 AM, with the afternoon time remaining at 1:11 PM.

The student governing body urged students to follow the rules of the school. "Together, let us uphold discipline and responsibility as true Marianista," according to their post.

𝘽𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙠-𝙄𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙮, 𝘽𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙠-𝙀𝙨𝙠𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙖

Payapa ang mga silid nitong mga nakaraang buwan; puno ng alikabok ang mga upuan, tahimik ang pasilyo, at tila natutulog ang buong kampus dahil sa matagal na paghihintay. Hanggang sa dumating na nga ang araw na ito: unang araw ng klase.

Muling mapupuno ng ingay ang bawat sulok. Maririnig na ulit ang halakhakan, kuwentuhan, at siyempre, ang LSS nating lahat ngayong pasukan—“Cause I’m hot Maria Clara, like kotseng magara… Don't need a mekaniko” Thanks so much kay Kween Sanya; ligwak ang first day jitters, cause "I know my worth."

Ang unang araw ng klase ay parang pagbubukas ng bagong kuwaderno—malinis pa ang pahina, pero alam mong mapupuno ito ng kung anu-anong kwento. May mga leksyon na mapapa "wait lang po, ma'am" ka, mga bagong unexpected frienships, at mga tagumpay na paminsan-minsan ay may kasamang luha. Habang muling bumabalik ang sigla ng paaralan, habang naririnig na ulit ang tunog ng chalk sa pisara, sana’y maalala natin kung bakit tayo narito...

Hindi lang dahil kailangan o "requirement". Kundi dahil may pangarap tayong bitbit. Tahimik man noon, ngayon ay buhay na ulit ang kampus, dahil dumating na ang pinakamahalagang bahagi nito: ikaw.
