Hi,
I don’t know if you will ever read this — and that’s okay. This isn’t for you. It’s for me.
We’ve shared moments across years that were real, meaningful, and powerful. I remember the connections, the hope, and the times we thought things could work. I remember the joy, the longing, and the almosts that never became “us.”
But time has passed, and life has carried us in different directions. We have our own path now. And that is how it should be.
I am writing this letter not to reopen the past, but to honor it and release it. I honor the feelings we shared. I honor the lessons I learned from you. And now, I choose to let go.
I let go of the “what ifs,” the waiting, and the unfinished endings. I let go of longing for something that could never fully exist. I will carry the memory of you gently, without letting it control or disturb my present.
You will always be a chapter of my story, but you are not the rest of it. I am choosing my life now — my love, my family, my peace. And in that choice, I am free.
Thank you for what you were in my life. I wish you happiness, growth, and peace on your path.
Goodbye, not because I stop caring, but because I care enough about myself and my life to move forward.
