December 12 | Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe

“Under the mantle of Our Lady, we find comfort, courage, and the assurance that God never abandons His children.”
Today, we honor Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mother of the Americas, Star of the New Evangelization, and a tender reminder of God’s nearness to the humble and the poor. May her presence lead us closer to Jesus and inspire us to bring hope, compassion, and peace to others.

Prayer to Our Lady of Guadalupe

O Blessed Virgin of Guadalupe,
Mother of mercy and Queen of the Americas,
we come before you with hearts full of trust.
Cover us with your heavenly mantle,
guide us in moments of uncertainty,
and remind us always of God’s unfailing love.

Teach us humility like Juan Diego,
courage in times of trial,
and compassion for those who suffer.
Intercede for our families,
protect our communities,
and lead us ever closer to your Son, Jesus.

Our Lady of Guadalupe,
Mother of Hope and Consolation,

“Defender of the Faith, Guardian of Sacred Tradition.”

Today, we honor St. Damasus I, the steadfast pope who protected the truth of the Church during times of confusion and division. Through his courage, devotion to Scripture, and love for the martyrs, he helped strengthen the foundations of our faith.
May his legacy inspire us to stand firm in truth and to honor God with unwavering conviction.

Prayer to St. Damasus I

O St. Damasus I,
faithful shepherd and defender of the Church,
you guided God’s people with courage
and preserved the purity of the Gospel
in times of trial and turmoil.

Intercede for us today—
that we may have the same zeal for truth,
the same love for God’s Word,
and the same devotion to the Church’s mission.

Strengthen our hearts with wisdom and faith,
and help us live our lives
in the light of Christ,
whom you served with all your strength.

Ngayon, ipinagdiriwang natin ang dakilang hiwaga ng pag-ibig ng Diyos na nahayag sa Immaculate Conception ng Mahal na Birheng Maria. Mula sa unang sandali ng Kanyang pagkatao, si Maria ay iningatan mula sa kasalanang mana—hinirang, minahal, at biniyayaan upang maging Ina ng ating Tagapagligtas.

Ang Kanyang kalinisan, kababaang-loob, at tapat na pagsunod ay nagliliwanag bilang paanyaya para sa atin na higit pang buksan ang puso sa kalooban ng Diyos. Habang ating pinararangalan ang natatanging papel ni Maria sa kasaysayan ng kaligtasan, nawa’y maging inspirasyon tayo na hanapin ang kabanalan, magtiwala sa plano ng Diyos, at mamuhay araw-araw nang may matibay na pananampalataya.

Sa pamamagitan ng Kanyang mapagkalingang pagdarasal, nawa’y lalo tayong mapalapit kay Kristo at makatagpo ng lakas sa mga pagsubok, liwanag sa pagdududa, at kapayapaan sa gitna ng hamon ng buhay.
O Maria, inianak na walang kasalanan, ipanalangin mo kami na dumudulog sa iyo.

O Immaculate Virgin Mary, inianak na walang kasalanan, lumalapit kami sa iyo nang may pagtitiwala at mapagkumbabang puso.
Hinirang ng Ama at pinuspos ng grasya, ikaw ang aming huwaran ng kalinisan, pananampalataya, at pagsunod.

Ipanalangin mo kami, Mahal na Ina, upang taglayin namin ang lakas na labanan ang tukso, lumago sa kabanalan, at mamuhay ayon sa kalooban ng Diyos. Pangalagaan mo ang aming mga pamilya, gabayan ang aming mga pasya, at punuin ang aming puso ng kapayapaan.

Ituro mo sa amin kung paano mahalin si Hesus nang may katapatan, tulad ng pagmamahal na naghari sa iyong buhay. Sa oras ng pagsubok, ikaw ang aming kanlungan; sa panahon ng pag-aalinlangan, ikaw ang aming liwanag.
Sa iyong makapangyarihang panalangin, lalo mo kaming ilapit sa iyong Anak, ang aming Panginoon at Manunubos.

𝐃𝐄𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑 𝟕 | 𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐒𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐓 𝐀𝐌𝐁𝐑𝐎𝐒𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐀𝐍

As we celebrate the Feast of St. Ambrose of Milan, we remember one of the great Doctors of the Church and a shining example of courage, wisdom, and pastoral zeal. Known for his powerful preaching, deep humility, and unwavering defense of the faith, St. Ambrose guided the early Church through times of confusion and challenge, always leading God’s people with clarity, compassion, and truth.

His words continue to inspire believers today, reminding us to stand firm in our convictions and to live our faith with integrity. St. Ambrose also played a vital role in the conversion of St. Augustine, showing how one person’s witness can transform another’s life.

𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙋𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙤

Intercede for our families, our community, and all who struggle with confusion, doubt, or fear. Strengthen our resolve to stand firm in our beliefs and to live our faith boldly and joyfully.
