Being a VA sounds fun… until you realize your life is running on 3 different timezones. 😅 US shift, UK shift, AU shift — for 4 years, ganun routine ko. Hustle here, hustle there, kasi syempre mas marami clients = mas maraming kita.

Pero the trade-off? Wala akong maayos na tulog. Just sleeping in random hours, minsan 4-5 hours lang, minsan tulog sa umaga, gising sa gabi. Akala ko okay lang, until I noticed na pababa nang pababa yung energy and health ko.

Kaya I finally slowed down. Now I stick with one client, AU timezone lang (good news, 2 hours ahead lang sa PH). Mas consistent na yung schedule, and slowly nabuo ulit yung body clock ko. 🙌

Not easy ah — years of bad sleeping habits don’t fix overnight. Pero worth it, kasi iba yung feeling ng may totoong rest.

Don’t wait until your health screams at you. Prioritize your sleep now. Money is replaceable, pero katawan mo? Isa lang ’yan.

Alam mo yung feeling na parang laging nananakit yung likod mo kasi puro upo sa work? SAME. Pero nung nag-switch ako sa Deskey E150 Standing Desk, ibang level—pwede ka mag-switch from upo to tayo anytime. Parang may sariling DJ ka sa height ng desk mo. 🎚️✨

Imagine mo, one tap lang sa control panel, tapos BOOM—ready ka na mag-“CEO stance” habang nag-Zoom or chill lang sa Netflix habang naka-tayo. Bonus points pa kasi ang ganda ng wood finish, aesthetic na, ergonomic pa. 💅

And yes, mabilis lang i-setup—hindi kailangan ng engineering degree.
Now, mas ganado ako magtrabaho… o magpanggap na nagtatrabaho. 😏

Most of us live like camels.
We keep walking.
We keep carrying on.
We keep saying we’re fine.
We don’t stop, and we don’t show when we’re tired.

But camels collapse without warning.
And we do that too.
One moment everything looks strong,
and the next, we are on our knees.

We could choose to be more like horses.
Horses show when they’re tired.
They slow down.
They let it be known when they’ve reached their edge.

We can do that with ourselves.
We can notice our own signs.
We can say “it’s time to pause”
before we reach the point of breaking.

It isn’t weakness to admit our limits.
There is strength in honesty.
There is kindness in resting
before we fall.
