Lisa King is giving glory to Jesus after sharing the answer to a prayer she carried through one of the most difficult chapters of her life.

Following her battle with stage 4 cancer, King revealed that her latest scans showed no evidence of cancer remaining in her body.

“I’m cancer free. God did it. From stage 4 to no evidence of cancer in my body.”

Her testimony has inspired many believers who continue to pray for family members and friends facing cancer and other serious illnesses. While she acknowledges the important role of medical professionals and treatment, Lisa credits God for her healing and offers Him all the praise.

Stories like Lisa’s serve as a reminder that God hears the prayers of His people. Whether healing comes suddenly, through medical care, or ultimately in eternity, God remains faithful and worthy of trust.

Patuloy ang pagtaas ng lebel ng tubig sa Marikina River dulot ng tuloy-tuloy na pag-ulang dala ng Habagat ngayong Linggo, Aug. 9.

Ayon sa Marikina PIO, umabot na sa 17.4 meters at nasa ikalawang alarma na ang ilog as of 3 p.m.

FLOOD CONTROL SA BRGY. TULAY, ODIONGAN, ROMBLON, NASIRA SA MALAKAS NA AGOS NG TUBIG-BAHA

Nasira ang bahagi ng flood control structure sa Sitio Bulabog, Barangay Tulay, Odiongan, Romblon sa kasagsagan ng malakas na pagragasa ng tubig-baha dulot ng matinding pag-ulan na dala ng pinalakas na nitong Sabado, Agosto 8, 2026.

Ayon sa residente na si Eden Forteza, malapit sa mga kabahayan ang nasirang bahagi ng flood control kaya maaari itong makaapekto sa mga residente sakaling muling tumaas ang tubig sa lugar.

Sinabi naman ng Barangay Captain na si Christian Diva na ipararating niya sa mga kinauukulang tanggapan ang insidente upang agad na maisagawa ang kinakailangang aksyon.
