Concluding the two-day celebration of the 14th Criminology Days, Batch Alab-Kalis emerged as the Overall Champion, capping the event with a vibrant Social Night at the DJEMC Gymnasium on October 30.

Organized by the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE), the annual event celebrated not only the academic and physical prowess of future law enforcers but also their artistry, discipline, and sportsmanship.

Throughout the two days of competition, each batch demonstrated their competitive spirit and showcased their diverse talents and skills in various academic, artistic, and performance-based contests.

When the final scores were tallied, Batch Alab-Kalis claimed the championship title with 1,520 points, followed by Batch Magilas as first runner-up with 1,425 points, Batch Masaligan as second runner-up with 1,345 points, and Batch Sandigan in third place with 915 points.

The event concluded with the recognition of outstanding performers, and an expression of gratitude to the faculty, organizers, and student leaders who made the 14th Criminology Days a resounding success.

Capping off the first day of celebration, the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) held the second part of the 14th Criminology Days program, featuring musical, dance, and pageant competitions on the night of October 29 at the DJEMC Gymnasium.

Earlier in the day, Dr. Iryll S. Mahilum, LPT, PhD, Vice President for Academic Affairs, encouraged the students to embrace their potential and express their skills.

โ€œIt is here that we witness your hidden talents and skills being unlocked and unfolded. Mabuhay, atong palakpakan ang atong criminology community,โ€ he said.

Subsequently, Batch Alab-Kalis won the Balak and Tawag ng Tanghalan (solo and duet), Batch Magilas topped the Standard Derby Round, while Batch Masaligan dominated the Dance Sports categories, including Slow Waltz, Tango, Quickstep, Latin Derby Round, Jive, Cha-cha, Rumba, and Hip-hop.

Meanwhile, the highlight of the program was the coronation of Miss CCJE Queerbaiting 2025, where Candidate No. 3, Sangre Andrea from Batch Masaligan, was crowned as the winner. Candidate No. 1, Kambal Diwa Zaira Califa of Batch Magilas and Candidate No. 6, Kambal Diwa Victoria of Batch Alab-Kalis were named first and second runners-up, respectively.

Additionally, special awards were also presented to outstanding candidates: Ms. Congeniality โ€“ Kambal Diwa Victoria (Alab-Kalis), Peopleโ€™s Choice Award โ€“ Sangre Andrea (Masaligan), Ms. Photogenic โ€“ Sangre Perla (Alab-Kalis), Best in Production Number โ€“ Kambal Diwa Zaira Califa (Magilas), Best in Swimwear โ€“ Sangre Kiana (Magilas), Best in Talent โ€“ Kambal Diwa Victoria (Alab-Kalis), Best in Goddesses and Fantasy Attire โ€“ Sangre Perla (Alab-Kalis), and Best in Bridal Gown โ€“ Kambal Diwa Zaira Califa (Magilas).

The two-day celebration continues today, October 30, with recreational activities, the Social Night, and the awarding of the Overall Champion.

Ignite Change. Rooted in Tradition. Rising in Innovation. Unleashing Island Knowledge to Transform the World,โ€ held today, October 29, at the Don Jose Ecleo Memorial College Gymnasium.

Marking the first part of the two-day celebration, the morning program featured exciting competitions such as Batch Muse 2025, Banner Raising, Lakaran, Mass Dance, and Poster Making, showcasing the studentsโ€™ talent, teamwork, and passion as they brought their skills and enthusiasm as future criminologists.
