Madalas madaling tawaging mabuting tatay basta may pagkain. Pero ang nanay? Konting madungis o mababang grade ng anak, agad masamang ina na.Kada sigaw minus, kada toy plus, kada gadget double minus? Kung may honor ang anak, may “best mom award,” pero kapag wala—worst mom ka na agad?

Pero totoo, walang sukatan. Walang points system, walang award. At habang hinahanap mo kung paano maging “mabuti,” sarili mo ang nauubos.

Kung nagdududa ka ngayon, tandaan: mabuti kang ina. Hindi kailangan perpekto. Yung pagod, puyat, at tawa ng anak mo—iyan ang patunay. Inhale, exhale. You’re doing enough.
