Tubod College celebrated the achievements of its National Service Training Program–Civic Welfare Training Service (NSTP-CWTS) completers during a Graduation Ceremony held on June 3, 2026 at the Mayor Nelieta Q. Noval Multipurpose Building in Poblacion, Tubod, Lanao del Norte.

Carrying the theme, “Cultivating Responsible Citizens Through Service, Leadership, and Volunteerism,” the ceremony recognized students who successfully completed the NSTP-CWTS program. The event featured the presentation and confirmation of graduates, distribution of certificates, inspirational messages from invited speakers, and a graduation address from the student representative.

The program highlighted the importance of civic responsibility, leadership, and community service, encouraging graduates to continue applying the values they learned through NSTP in their future endeavors and service to society.

Tubod College continues to strengthen its research culture as the study entitled “The Relationship Between In-Service Teacher Self-Efficacy and Professional Enhancement in Career Progression” gains recognition as a meaningful contribution to educational research.

The publication was authored by Angeline Q. Aclon, Merilyn D. Remocaldo, Norjanah M. Mimbisa, and Jonavel A. Maglente, whose work highlights the vital connection between teachers’ confidence in their profession and their continuous growth toward career advancement.

Guided by their Research Adviser, Clyde S. Alvia, LPT, MAED CAR, the researchers demonstrated dedication, academic discipline, and a strong commitment to producing relevant and impactful scholarly work.

The achievement also reflects the continued support of Dean Johnson A. Cordero, LPT, MAED EM, and the institution’s commitment to promoting quality education, research excellence, and globally responsive academic engagement. Through initiatives like this, Tubod College further affirms its role in advancing research that contributes to both professional development and community transformation.

The installation of the new transformer at the Tubod College campus was successfully completed on Wednesday, May 13, through the collaborative efforts of Municipal Mayor Jimmy Cabahug, the Board of Trustees, College President Dr. Cherry Marie Paclipan, and Lanao del Norte Electric Cooperative, Inc. (LANECO).

The successful completion of the transformer installation marks a significant step toward improving the campus’ electrical capacity and ensuring a more stable and efficient power supply for students, faculty, and staff.

With the transformer now fully operational, normal electricity consumption within the campus may officially resume, including the use of air conditioning units and other essential electrical facilities that support daily academic and administrative operations.

The college administration also expressed its gratitude to all individuals and agencies involved in the project for their cooperation and commitment in ensuring the timely completion of the installation.

The GEC Department of Tubod College successfully held its first-ever Short Film Fest, “Araw ng Parangal,” on May 15, 2026, at the Tubod College Gymnasium.

With the theme “Short Films, Big Impact,” the event celebrated student creativity and excellence in filmmaking through a series of film screenings, performances, and award presentations. Students and guests attended the ceremony in formal and Filipino attire, adding elegance to the occasion.

Major and minor awards were presented in categories such as Best Director, Best Edit, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Poster, and Best Film, recognizing the outstanding efforts of participating students and film teams.

The event also featured messages from faculty members and administrators, highlighting the importance of storytelling, collaboration, and artistic expression among students.

The successful conduct of the 1st Short Film Fest marked a milestone for Tubod College in promoting student talent and creativity in filmmaking.

"𝐀 𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐔𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍” 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲

The Tubod College National Service Training Program successfully conducted the “A Tree for Graduation” Tree Planting Activity as part of its commitment to environmental protection and community responsibility. The activity aimed to encourage students to participate in caring for nature by planting trees that can help improve the environment and reduce pollution.

Students from different departments actively joined the activity according to the scheduled dates. The participants gathered at the Tubod College Guardhouse at 6:00 in the morning and brought the required materials such as tree guards and tools for planting. Through teamwork and cooperation, the students were able to plant seedlings in the assigned areas successfully

This activity helped promote environmental awareness among students and reminded everyone of the importance of preserving trees and protecting natural resources. Planting trees not only beautifies the surroundings but also helps provide clean air, prevent soil erosion, and support a healthier environment for future generations.
