🛞 1. Primary Pulley (Drive Pulley / Variator)

Connected to the engine crankshaft.

Contains rollers or sliding weights inside.

As engine RPM increases, centrifugal force pushes the weights outward, causing the pulley halves to close in, making the belt ride higher (like shifting to a higher gear).

⛓️ 2. V-Belt (Drive Belt)

Links the primary and secondary pulleys.

Moves up and down on the pulleys as their widths change, creating infinite gear ratios.

Usually made of reinforced rubber or metal links (for durability).

🛞 3. Secondary Pulley (Driven Pulley)

Connected to the rear wheel through a final drive (gear or chain).

Spring-loaded to counteract the variator’s force.
