February 22–25, 2026 marks the 40th anniversary of the People Power Revolution, when millions of Filipinos filled Epifanio de los Santos Avenue in a breathtaking display of unity, courage, and faith to end the authoritarian rule of Ferdinand Marcos and restore democracy in 1986. What unfolded over those historic days was not driven by violence, but by prayer, solidarity, and an unshakable belief that the people’s voice is stronger than fear–ultimately ushering in a new era under Corazon Aquino.

40 years later, EDSA (Epifanio de los Santos Avenue) revolution remains a powerful reminder to the world that freedom can be reclaimed peacefully, and that when a nation stands together, no dictatorship can silence its hope.

You may be a little moody sometimes, but you’re also the first one to laugh at the dumbest jokes and flash that contagious smile that instantly lifts everyone’s mood. You have such a sweet and thoughtful heart – you never forget anyone’s special day and always make sure your friends feel remembered and appreciated.

We truly admire how you know your worth and refuse to stay in spaces that don’t value you. You’re strong enough to walk away from toxic circles, and that’s something not everyone can do.
