Kylie Padilla: “ I wasn’t ready to get married, but to make everyone else happy , we get married.”
Ang pag asawa ay di biro, it is a lifetime commitment. Never rushed to get married, because marriage is a big deal , requires more than just love - it takes commitment , trust and a lot of effort. If you’re not ready yet, it’s okay to wait.
Kylie story reminds us that marriage isn’t something we rushed into. It’s a big decision and it should be made when you’re truly ready not because of pressures or what others expect.
Here’s the things on Kylie’s POV during her interview :
BB Gandanghari: You had a promising career. Nagkaroon ka ng unexpected pregnancy. How did you handle that?
Kylie: I was scared. Natakot ako kasi meron akong show na napakaganda. Ang hirap din nung journey kasi when that show started (Encantandia), I was the most disliked Sanggre. So, ginamit ko yun as a fuel at um-okay and I became as the most favorite. Then nabuntis ako so parang sabi ko ‘sayang’.
BB Gandanghari: That is a frustration and why is that so? Were you inlove? Were you just young? What was it all about?
Kylie: I was in love.
BB Gandanghari: You were and you thought that it was the right time to get married?
Kylie: I wasn’t ready to get married– I didn’t believe in marriage– but to make everyone else happy, we got married.
Kylie: Alam ko naman very deep yung understanding ko na ibang commitment na talaga yung marriage– that you really have to go through everything together even the worst, in sickness and in health, di ba? When I was in that marriage I didn’t feel that part.
BB Gandanghari: At which part of marriage naramdaman mong “this is not what I want?”
Kylie: Pandemic na. Sabi nga nila when the pandemic comes, talagang nagharap kayo sa isa’t isa. Na test nga kami during pandemic and we failed.
