Special Program in the Arts - Abuyog NHS bagged numerous awards and wins in the recently concluded Division Festival of Talents held at Isabel, Leyte last January 27-31, 2025.

🏆 First Runner Up, Over-all Ranking Result as Top Performing School
🏆 First Place, Sineliksik (RFOT Qualifier)
🏆 First Place, Direk Ko, Ganap Mo (RFOT QUalifier)
🏆 Third Place, Bayle Sa Kalye - Street Performance

Behind every success is a community of people who helped every step of the way.

To our school principal, sir Alexander T. Olazo for the support in our every activity, to our head teacher, sir Jonathan Javier who went out and beyond in helping our finances, to maam Laniline Alonzo, for processing our finance papers, to the faculty and staff of Abuyog NHS who donated amounts to help us in our financial needs, to our SPTA President, sir Jorge Robenta and his officers for the financial help as well.

To Hon. Dario Lleve Sr. for the transportation of our props as well as to our former principal, maam Bernardita L. De Paz for the transportation of the delegates. To sir Oliver Colarte and maam Rhodora Chavez for the time and effort of being with us during our stay and served us with sumptuous meals everyday.

To the SPAmilya of Abuyog NHS headed by sir Marjun Cultura who refused to surrender and find ways and means to bring the whole delegation to DFOT, to the coaches who trained the students despite the very limited time - sir Oscar Hinunangan, sir Daniel Pakig, sir Aljor Tomines and sir Marlon Tero, to sir Mariano Samson, maam Maria Angelica Pedrosa and maam Florence Recamadas.

To the parents of our contingents who have supported their children and our journey all the way, and those who extended their financial help, thank you so much.

And to our SPA students who tirelessly dedicated their time, effort and dedication in each event, we thank you for your strong and unwavering creative hearts! We had the strongest delegation this year and we owe it all to you. Keep the flame of arts in your heart, burning!

Like the vibrant colors of the bees, the candidates will buzz their way to the crown with the four competing honeycombs - Hamomoong, Bumblebee, Honeybee and Lapinig!
