Congratulations Name Withheld!

Erwin Ken Angcual Parchaso, a native of Benguet and a graduate of Lyceum Northwestern University, made history by achieving a remarkable score of 95.17%, the highest ever recorded in the Physician Licensure Examination since 1973.

According to the Professional Regulation Commission, the official results had to be released on schedule despite the unusually high score. Due to this, his name was initially withheld while additional validation was conducted. After thorough verification, it was confirmed that Parchaso indeed topped the examination, solidifying his place in history.

October 2025 Licensure Examination for Certified Public Accountants Results Released in Five (5) Working Days

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 3,460 out of 10,171 passed the Licensure Examination for Certified Public Accountants given by the Board of Accountancy in 18 testing centers all over the Philippines last October 2025. The result of examination with respect to one (1) examinee was withheld pending final determination of his/her liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.

The members of the Board of Accountancy who gave the licensure examination are Hon. Noe G. Quiñanola, Chairman; Hon. Samuel B. Padilla, Vice Chairman; Hon. Gloria T. Baysa, Hon. Thelma S. Ciudadano, Hon. Gervacio I. Piator and Hon. Maria Teresita Z. Dimaculangan, Members.

Starting December 22, 2025, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration. Those who will register are required to bring the following: downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, notice of admission (for identification only), 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of documentary stamps and 1 piece short brown envelope. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

MANILA, Philippines — In early 2024, Miguel Anton De Lara, an Architecture graduate from De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde, was preparing for the board exam when life took a devastating turn — he was diagnosed with testicular cancer.

What followed was a painful journey: surgery, four cycles of chemotherapy, and a worsening prognosis that reached Stage 4. He battled memory loss, numbness, and unbearable pain, but he never stopped studying — not even on his worst days.

Despite losing friends, opportunities, and nearly his life, his faith held him up. He called on God, his family, and the few who stood by him.

In October 2024, he was told the cancer had spread to his bones. But a final CT scan revealed what he now calls a miracle — he was cancer-free.

Fueled by grace and gratitude, Miguel took the January 2025 Architecture Licensure Exam with one mission: to finish the race. He didn’t make it to the top 10, but for many, his courage, resilience, and faith made him a true topnotcher.
