❗𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓❗
📢 Starting June 2, 2025, Facebook (Meta) will begin charging 12% VAT on your ad spend — unless you update your account now.
If your “Sold To” address is in the Philippines and you haven’t added your TIN and VAT status in your Ad Account Settings, expect that VAT will be added on top of your ad costs.
To avoid unnecessary charges:
✅ Go to Payment Settings
✅ Click “Edit” under Business Info
✅ Enter your TIN
✅ Select your correct VAT registration status
📌 If you're a registered business, Meta won’t charge VAT — but you’ll need to reverse charge and report it via BIR Form 1600-VT.
💡 You may also be able to claim it as input VAT, if qualified.
