I almost didn't start.
No connections.
Hindi magaling mag-English.
No workspace.
Just a laptop bought with our last money, an internet connection, and one reason that kept me going...
"Dili ko ganahan malayo sa pamilya para lang mag-work."
That was it. That was my whole plan.
I was the shy type. The one who would rehearse what to say before a call and still freeze. The one who thought, "Who's going to take me seriously? Dili man gani ko fluent mag-English?"
Sound familiar?
We grow up collecting these little beliefs like they're facts.
"Shy type ako."
"Late na ako."
"May anak ako, di ko kaya."
"Wala akong connections."
"Di ako magaling."
And we carry them everywhere. Into every application. Every opportunity. Every time we almost try... pero hindi na.
But here's what I've learned, sis:
That belief holding you back? It's not even real anymore.
You've already outgrown it. You just haven't given yourself permission to see it yet.
The version of you who had nothing โ no skills, no budget, no idea where to start... she already did the hardest part. She stayed.
Now I'm a Social Media Manager, slowly building my way into Funnels. Still learning. Still figuring it out. Still some days nagtatanong, "Tama ba 'to?"
But I'm not stuck.
I'm growing.
And so are you. Even if it doesn't feel like it today.
You don't need to have it all figured out. You don't need perfect English, a fancy setup, or a perfect roadmap.
You just need to start walking. Even slow. Even if it's messy. Even with a baby on your lap. Even if you're the only one who believes in it right now.
And when it gets hard (because it will), remember...
That's just your next level.
Bigger challenges mean you're being prepared for bigger things. A bigger income. A bigger life. A version of you that your younger self would be proud of.
Start walking, sis. โค๏ธ
Even slow progress is still progress.
