GARDENING JOURNAL 🌱💦
In gardening, it is essential that we have the right tools. Shovel for digging, rake for cleaning the soil, watering can or hose for watering the plant (obviously 😅). A gardener may have more tools but these are the basics. These tools are used to help the gardener complete the tasks in the garden.
In life, we too are given tools to help us grow. God has given us the Bible and nature to study. He has also given us prayer. These tools help to cultivate the heart in preparation for the planting of the seeds of truth, helping the seeds to grow, thrive and eventually bear fruit.🍎🍒🍇🍉🍈🍋🥭
These tools which we use in our lives are the same tools that we should use in planting the seed of truth in others. Prayer, Bible and nature study.
As gardeners of truth, there is no better place to begin the work than in our own homes. Let us teach us children the love of God as we read the Bible, show them God's abounding grace as we study nature, and allow them to experience His holy presence in prayer.
When we faithfully do this as God's gardeners, we will surely reap a bountiful harvest of good fruit for His kingdom. 🙏
