ANO BA YAN, WALA NA!!
I grew up with almost nothing.
There were days I went to school with only โฑ10 baon, and sometimes... wala talaga. Iโd sip water just to quiet down the hunger. I got used to watching others eat, wishing I had what they had โ food, clothes, even simple school supplies.
Fast forward to today, I catch myself checking out items I once only dreamed of. And I admit โ I overspend, too much. And I feel down when I have no orders to track. It's a strange feeling... like something's missing when there's nothing "To Ship".
Retail therapy โ it comforts us. That little parcel on the way feels like a pat on the back. A reward. A distraction. A hug in a box.
But here's the truth:
๐ง It calms our mind temporarily, but it can stress our finances long term.
๐ธ The joy of checkout shouldn't become a trap that empties our savings.
๐ Healing doesn't always come in packages โ sometimes it comes in rest, purpose, and self-love.
To those who feel this too:
You are not alone.
You're not being โtoo much.โ
You're just someone who found a little joy in what you never had before.
Although Good, Be Mindful ๐ง ๐ก
Retail therapy isnโt bad โ itโs human.
Itโs okay to want nice things. Itโs okay to treat yourself.
But be careful not to fill emotional gaps with financial holes.
Ask yourself:
๐ Do I need this?
๐ณ Is this a reward or a routine escape?
๐ Am I buying joy... or borrowing regret?
Letโs not let short-term comfort steal long-term peace.
Remember โ the best delivery is progress.
Order growth. Ship out self-love.
And review your financial goals like you'd review your favorite seller. ๐ฑ
Letโs buy things that add value, not just temporary highs.
Because the biggest checkout? It's when you realize how far youโve come.
