How to Sell Your Service: Listen First, Solve Second

Selling isn’t about pushing your service — it’s about solving a problem.

The key? Listen to the pain.

Before you pitch anything, take time to understand where your potential client is struggling. What’s frustrating them? What’s costing them time, money, or peace of mind?

Once you truly understand their pain, propose a solution that directly addresses it. Be clear. Be relevant. Show how what you offer isn't just a service — it’s the answer they’ve been looking for.

When people feel heard, they trust you. And when they trust you, they buy.

So remember:
🎯 Listen to the pain. Propose the solution. That’s how real selling works.

ANO BA YAN, WALA NA!!

I grew up with almost nothing.

There were days I went to school with only ₱10 baon, and sometimes... wala talaga. I’d sip water just to quiet down the hunger. I got used to watching others eat, wishing I had what they had — food, clothes, even simple school supplies.

Fast forward to today, I catch myself checking out items I once only dreamed of. And I admit — I overspend, too much. And I feel down when I have no orders to track. It's a strange feeling... like something's missing when there's nothing "To Ship".

Retail therapy — it comforts us. That little parcel on the way feels like a pat on the back. A reward. A distraction. A hug in a box.

But here's the truth:
🧠 It calms our mind temporarily, but it can stress our finances long term.
💸 The joy of checkout shouldn't become a trap that empties our savings.
💖 Healing doesn't always come in packages — sometimes it comes in rest, purpose, and self-love.

To those who feel this too:
You are not alone.
You're not being “too much.”
You're just someone who found a little joy in what you never had before.

Although Good, Be Mindful 🧠💡

📢 Sharing this to raise awareness on email scams.

I received an email today claiming to be from "BDO App" saying someone accessed my account from Dubai. But when I checked the sender's email, it was clearly not from BDO...

A few reminders to protect yourself:

✅ Always check the sender's email address — legitimate banks will only use official domains (example: .com.ph).
✅ Never click links or download attachments from suspicious emails.
✅ Do not enter your password, OTP, or any personal information on unfamiliar websites.
✅ If in doubt, go directly to your bank’s official app or website — do not rely on links from emails.
✅ Be cautious of emails that create urgency (example: "account locked", "unauthorized access", etc.). These are common tactics used by scammers.

Many people fall victim to these scams because they look very convincing. Please share this with your family and friends, especially those who may not be very familiar with these types of threats.

Stay vigilant and stay safe online. 🔐

WOKE UP TO CLIENTS WANTING TO HIRE ME...without applying 🔥

Grabe, manifestation ba 'to or just pure value?

Pag-gising ko kanina, BOOM — 2 clients in my inbox asking if I’d like to work with them.
Wala akong in-apply-an. Wala akong ad. Wala akong pitch. Pero ayun sila, ready mag-hire.

Client #1:
Flashback — 1 year ago nag-apply ako sa kanya, but I didn’t qualify kasi I was pregnant at the time, and he needed someone na fully present.

Still, I gave my best sa interview. We clicked.
After giving birth, he reached out ulit for a PM role — I couldn’t commit yet, baby pa eh.

Pero I stayed in touch. Gave tips. Shared insights. Showed up kahit di ako bayad.

Fast forward to today:

He messaged again — this time, gusto niya ako as his Executive Virtual Assistant.

Hindi ko in-apply-an ‘to, bes. He kept me top of mind kasi I gave value even when I wasn’t working for him.

He saw what I could do. He trusted what I can bring to the table.

Now here we are.

Client #2:
She found me sa FB group — I was offering free help to biz owners.

We stayed connected sa WhatsApp.

I helped her on project-based stuff.

Nagbigay ako ng tips, nagbigay ng guidance — with no strings attached.

Today?

Siya na yung nag-offer ng higher rate than what I even suggested.

Gusto niya akong i-hire. No convincing needed.

Moral of the story?

If you know your worth —
Clients will come to YOU.
Hindi mo kailangang habulin.

Give value. Build real relationships.
Be visible. Be so good they can’t ignore you.
And most of all — be yourself.

The right clients will feel that energy.

$250 Contract for just 5 mins of work! 🔥💪

Never lower your value just because you're afraid of rejection.

A few days ago, this client messaged me on Fiverr.
At first, he wanted me as a VA — hourly.
But I declined kasi hindi niya kaya yung hourly rate ko.

He tried to negotiate and asked if I could lower it a bit, but I knew the workload wasn’t worth the rate he was offering.

A few days later, we connected on WhatsApp.
Turns out, he really wanted me to work with him for his business.

This time, he offered a project-based deal.
And guess what?

I closed it for $250 —just to troubleshoot their integrations, which literally took me 5 minutes to fix.

I told him 2 days turnaround,
just for buffer time,
but I already knew it was an easy fix.

Why did I charge that much for 5 minutes of work?
Because it’s my expertise.

If they don’t know how to fix it,
why should I offer it for less?

Yes, he hesitated at first.

Took a day before he got back to me.

But I didn’t lower my rate —

because I know his time is way more valuable
than spending hours trying to figure out something he didn’t understand.

Lesson for fellow VAs and freelance buds:

Don’t charge based on how long it takes you to finish something.

Charge based on the value you bring, the years of experience behind that “quick fix,” and the peace of mind your client gets by hiring YOU.

If you keep pricing yourself low just to get a yes,
you’ll keep attracting clients who don’t value your skills.

Know your worth, and stick to it.

Quality clients will always pay for quality work.

Andaming client na naghahanap ng skilled VA to help with their GoHighLevel system and sobrang laki ng mga offer!

This February lang I got over 5 prospected client who needed a VA and note, hindi ako nag apply!

They simply just saw my profiles sa mga job site and linkedin and message sila sakin asking of I want to work for them (I decline some of them kasi I have a baby T^T annnnd I have a long term client din na ayaw ko naman iwanan)

I do refer people to these clients tho and they all got hired with high pay!!

Point is... 𝗦𝗼𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗮𝗺𝗶 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝘂𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗩𝗔 𝗻𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗚𝗛𝗟 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀.

I also got asked by some people who knew me to teach them so 𝗜 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗛𝗟 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗚𝗛𝗟 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗧 kasi I know you learn more with experience.

I know you love Facebook and Insta, but do you know that META just release a mass layoff???

Here's my thought after meta just cut 3,500 employees, labeling them "low performers."

Who hired these workers in the first place?
Who set expectations?

If nearly 5% of Meta's workforce can be suddenly deemed “not good enough,” that’s not a talent issue—it’s a question of leadership.

Mass layoffs are tough, but finding a scapegoat in employees does nothing to address the real problem: leadership missteps, inconsistent performance standards, and questionable hiring practices. 🤔

Is the problem with the people Meta hired, or how have they been managed and supported along the way?

Big choices have consequences, and it’s easy to blame individuals when the real hit needs to be taken by those in charge. What are your thoughts?

Realization before the year end🙌

Dati ₱50 lang regalo natatanggap natin o kaya naman wala talaga.

Minsan nga di pa makasali sa exchange gift kasi walang pera.

Pero ngayon, tayo naman yung magbibigay, Salamat lord sa lahat ng biyaya ngayong 2024. Pagyabungin pa natin sa darating na 2025 ❣️🙌

Another bucket list checked ✔❣️

Small feat for others, but something I'm proud of myself.

Dati hindi ako makapag open ng savings account sa BPI at BDO (or any other bank that time) kasi kelangan ng ng maintaining balance (10, 000 sa BPI I believe)

Only bank account I had back then was GCash 😅 and my very first bank is payroll account pa from UB 😭 (buhay pa din to ha hahahha converted the payroll acct to savings na ₱350 maintaining balance lang) back when I was working sa fastfood chain.

Then fast forward, I have been able to open banks account with ease. Also have my first credit card back in 2022 with SB and a 2nd one this year with UB.

And here we are, very first VIP membership sa bank 😍 RCBC hexagon Club member na ang ate mo!

One bucket list checked again! 💞

PS: I've been planning to upgrade my account with them since early this year but pregnancy, giving birth and postpartum just made it soooo hard to go out 😭
