𝗠𝗚𝗔 𝗬𝗔𝗣𝗔𝗞 𝗡𝗚 𝗞𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗛𝗔𝗡

Ngayong ika-9 ng Abril, ginugunita natin ang 𝘼𝙧𝙖𝙬 𝙣𝙜 𝙆𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙣, kung saan pinagninilayan natin ang sakripisyo at tapang na nagbigay-daan sa kalayaang tinatamasa natin ngayon. Ang araw na ito ay isang paalala na ang tunay na kagitingan ay hindi lamang sa lakas, kundi sa araw-araw na pagpili na maging 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙪𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙣, 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙜, at 𝙢𝙖𝙮 𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙩 𝙨𝙖 𝙠𝙖𝙥𝙬𝙖.

Sa kabila ng hirap at panganib, pinili ng ating mga bayani na tumindig. Nanaig ang kanilang pagmamahal sa bayan, ang kanilang laban ay naging ating kalayaan. Sa panahon natin ngayon, sa maliit man o malaking paraan, ang kagitingan ay patuloy na isabuhay. Nawa’y lagi tayong magsumikap na gumawa ng kabutihan, manindigan sa tama, at magpakita ng pagmamalasakit sa kapwa.

𝗢𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗢𝗡 | 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻’𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝘀 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 — 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗮 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿

As the world marks International Women’s Day, we are reminded that celebrating women goes beyond recognition—it calls for reflection on how society speaks about, treats, and values women every single day.

This Women’s Month, conversations about respect and accountability became louder after a remark from B**g Suntay involving actress Anne Curtis circulated online.

In a public statement, the lawmaker shared that he once saw the actress and imagined certain things about her, later saying that he could not be held liable for what he only imagined. The comment quickly spread on social media, and reactions were mixed. Some dismissed it as a joke or a harmless thought. Others found it uncomfortable and inappropriate.

But maybe the bigger question is not whether it was “just imagination.” Maybe it’s this: When does a private thought stop being private? When it’s said out loud.

Words are powerful. People in authority positions maintain their power to enforce regulations of their domain over others who exist outside their control. Public officials are not just individuals speaking casually — they represent communities, policies, and standards of behavior.

Women’s Month extends beyond its structured activities and purple shirt displays and social media content. Women deserve recognition for their achievements while people should challenge all beliefs that treat women as mere objects or dreams. People should treat all individuals with respect regardless of their social standing whether they are famous or unknown.

In school, we are constantly reminded to think before we speak. We are taught that jokes should not come at the expense of someone else’s dignity. If students are expected to practice respect, shouldn’t leaders be held to do the same — if not higher — standard?

This issue is not about canceling anyone. It’s about awareness. It’s about understanding that even statements meant lightly can reflect deeper cultural problems — especially in a society still working toward genuine gender equality.

As we continue celebrating Women’s Month, may we move beyond greetings and hashtags. May we also reflect on how we speak about women — in conversations, in classrooms, and in positions of power.

Because respect is not seasonal. It should be constant.

Day 3 reached its peak on February 21, 2026, at the TLC Concert Ground — a day where excitement, talent, and sportsmanship collided in a spectacular celebration.

BPS Got Talent stole the spotlight with breathtaking performances and non-stop energy. The winners were Pink Glory as 3rd Runner Up, Green Sorrow as 2nd Runner Up, Maroon Joy as 1st Runner Up, and Yellow Light as the Champion, thrilling the audience with creativity and flair.

The night also celebrated the champions of the Director's Cup 2026. In the Director's Cup 2026, Pink Glory earned 3rd Runner Up, Green Sorrow took 2nd Runner Up, Yellow Light placed 1st Runner Up, and Maroon Joy proudly took the Championship title.

A perfect finale to Day 3 — a celebration of talent, teamwork, and triumph that will be remembered for years to come! 💥✨

On February 20, 2026, during the second day of Bicutan Parochial School’s Foundation Anniversary, the campus came alive as the school celebrated the value of family through thoughtfully prepared activities by the Family Council. It was a day filled with laughter and meaningful moments that reminded everyone why family is at the heart of every BPSian’s journey.

The celebration opened with heartfelt remarks from the School Principal, Mrs. Jenilou Casareno, who shared that Family Day is one of the most important parts of the foundation anniversary. She emphasized that it strengthens bonds and reminds students that success and happiness often begin at home.

Excitement soon filled the air as families joined in interactive activities like the Whitney Houston Challenge and the lively “Bring Me” game. Laughter and friendly competition echoed across the campus, and the highly anticipated raffle drew even more smiles, with every student guaranteed a prize.

In the afternoon, the community gathered for the Agape feast, sharing food and special moments of togetherness with their loved ones. It was a simple but powerful reminder that quality time with family creates lasting memories.

The celebration continued with a live band and captivating performances by talented guests prepared by the Family Council. Students cheered and fully enjoyed the lively and festive atmosphere. The grand raffle concluded the day, with lucky students taking home bicycles, televisions, kitchen appliances, and more.

This Family Day reminded BPSians of the true importance of family — that beyond achievements and celebrations, it is love, support, and unity at home that build a stronger community.

After the parade, BPSians witness the charm and brilliance of each participant of the BPS Running Man, exerting wit and expressing different talents, having Maroon Joy as the Champion and Front runner of the day.

A remarkable highlight of the day was the Cheerdance Competition held in BPS Ground, which truly captured the enthusiasm and unity of the BPS community, each color gives their unique spin and charisma, but the Green Sorrow takes the number 1 spot!

Through the dedication and participation of each team and admin, the opening of the 38th Founding Anniversary of Bicutan Parochial School became a meaningful and memorable beginning.

As the festivities continue, the community eagerly anticipates Day 2 events, promising more moments of joy, camaraderie, and unforgettable experiences throughout the week.
