Installing a new battery in a remote key fob for a Toyota Aqua (also known as Prius C) is a simple process you can do at home in just a few minutes. Here’s how:

What You’ll Need:
• New battery: Most Toyota Aqua key fobs use a CR1632 coin cell battery. Check the old one to be sure.
• Small flathead screwdriver or a plastic pry tool

Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Locate the Mechanical Key (if applicable):
• Slide the release latch on the side of the fob to pull out the metal key blade.
2. Open the Fob:
• Use a flathead screwdriver or plastic pry tool to gently pry open the key fob at the seam where the two halves meet (usually near where the mechanical key was).
• Twist gently until it pops open.
3. Remove the Old Battery:
• Note the orientation (positive side up) before removing the battery.
• Use the flathead tool to lift the old CR1632 battery out of the holder.
4. Insert the New Battery:
• Place the new battery positive (+) side up.
• Press it firmly into place so it’s secure.
5. Reassemble the Fob:
• Snap the two halves back together.
• Reinsert the metal key blade.
6. Test the Remote:
• Stand near your car and press the lock/unlock buttons to make sure it’s working.

-Tools Needed-
▪️Flat Screw Driver
▪️Plastic Trim Dash Removal Tools
▪️Metal Trim Bolt Removal Tool
▪️Any Bent Object with a sharp end can also be used.

Toyota aqua Hybrid number plate bulb light replacement, In this video I replaced the bulb that is located over the licence plate, normally there are 2 bulbs located over the licence plate, it is recommended to change both bulbs even if only 1 has been broken as it is very likely that the other one will be broken soon😆😊😅

On This vehicle which is Toyota Aqua 2014, there are no screws or bolts to be removed to access the bulb, you would carefully need to remove the licence with the help of a small flat screwdriver as shown in the video, I demonstrated the quick and easy way to change the bulb which is applicable on many other Toyota models as well as other make and models too if you find my video helpful in any way kindly like and subscribe my channel to encourage me to make more useful videos.
