Payatpan ay isang mahalagang kultura ng mga Ivatan sa Batanes—isang tradisyon ng kusang pagtutulungan na ginagawa hindi para sa kapalit, kundi para sa kapwa.
Sa Payatpan, ang bawat isa ay nag-aalay ng oras, lakas, at kakayahan upang makatulong, lalo na sa pagpapatayo ng bahay. Dito makikita na sa komunidad ng mga Ivatan, walang nag-iisa at walang naiiwan.

Ang tradisyong ito ay patunay na ang tunay na yaman ng isang bayan ay hindi nasusukat sa materyal na bagay, kundi sa pagkakaisa at malasakit ng mga taong bumubuo rito.
