Putting your needs before the needs of others is self-care.
Believe me, it's not selfish, It's necessary!
And please take note of this never leave yourself behind.

Last year, I realized na sobrang available ko pala para sa lahat.
I mean "I can't say no" kasi palagi kong iniisip na "kaya ko naman" "nakakahiya" "baka kapag sinabi ko na ayoko may masabi" until naramdaman ko na nakakapagod din pala.
Nakakapagod palang maging ako kasi I always care for them to the point na wala na pala akong time para sa sarili ko, tipong palagi rin akong nagmamadali parang hinahabol at obligado sa mga bagay-bagay. Not until someone said na "there's a power in saying no" which is napaisip ako na tama naman kasi saying "NO" can be a powerful act of self-care. Why not na piliin ko yung sarili ko? Hindi naman ibig sabihin na hindi ako available para sa kanila is I don't care for them. You can be a good person pa rin naman and still you can say no.

Now I am learning to say "NO" without a guilty feeling.
I am setting my own boundaries, protecting my peace and prioritizing myself. So please don't judge me or misunderstand my actions. I am just choosing myself.

Again choose yourself. 😉😘🥰

"carry on," "move forward," or "not give up"

Palagi kong sinasabi na "PADAYON RA" (this has been my favorite bisaya word) kumbaga no matter what the situation is, I have to move forward or magpatuloy sa buhay. Kasi I also believe sa katagang "PUHON" (God-willing or hopefully) na magiging maayos rin ang lahat ☺
