1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

½ tsp baking powder

¼ tsp salt

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

¾ cup granulated sugar

1 egg

1 tbsp lemon zest (about 1 lemon)

1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

½ tsp vanilla extract

¼ tsp yellow food coloring (optional for extra lemony look)

½ cup powdered sugar (for coating)

Now, let me take a moment to share something important (and save you from future awkwardness 😂):

🌟 I don’t accept godchildren randomly.
Becoming a Ninang isn’t just for the title or a cute photo op. It’s a responsibility. And how can I truly fulfill that role if I barely know the parents?

So here are 2 friendly tips before asking someone to be a godparent:

1️⃣ Make sure there’s a deep and genuine connection.
2️⃣ Understand that it’s a lifelong role, not just for the party.

Let’s normalize saying “no” respectfully and accepting it maturely.

As Filipinos, we sometimes take things too personally — but it’s okay to protect your boundaries and values. 💬

**Featuring my for keepsake gifts for my ina-anak but not everyone is my ina-anak sa mga naka tangap some of the children are just my girlfriends' babies. Hmm, as far I could remember lahat ko ina-anak at least one gift from me naka tangap talaga. Nasa parents na lang if ma remember pa ako. 😉

Of course meron rin mga adult for keepsake gifts. (Oh, diba hindi lang one or two but more on my list talaga, hopefully you will keep it in your baul nicely!😆) 🥰

In Loving Memory of Poncho
🕊️ November 11, 2018 – May 12, 2025

We were birthday buddies — just a day apart — and that made our connection even more meaningful.

Poncho wasn’t just a dog. He was family.
Loving, protective, adorably stubborn — he chose who to obey, but he always chose love.

He got excited every time he heard “Poncho, let’s go out!” tilting his head and wagging with joy.

When he got tired, I carried him home. Just like I always will — in my heart.

He barked only when needed, loved humans more than other dogs, and followed me everywhere… even to the bathroom.

When his water bowl was empty, he kicked it like a little boss, telling me, “Hey, I need more!”

He was an indoor dog who lived for cuddles, naps, snacks, and walks.

He loved. He was loved. And he will always be.
