REQUEST NI DUTERTE NA IDISQUALIFY ANG DALAWANG JUDGES SA ICC, HINDI PINAYAGAN!

Itinanggi ng International Criminal Court (ICC) ang kahilingan ng nakakulong na dating pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na i-disqualify ang dalawang hukom sa Pre-Trial Chamber I ng tribunal, na inaasahang maghatol sa mga isyu sa hurisdiksyon sa kanyang kaso.

Sa isang desisyon na may petsang Hunyo 9, sinabi ng plenaryo na sa pagkakaisa, nagpasya itong "tanggihan ang aplikasyon" ng kampo ni Duterte na humihiling ng diskwalipikasyon nina Judge María del Socorro Flores Liera at Reine Adélaïde Sophie Alapini-Gansou.

'NOT DISMISSED, NOT TERMINATED'

House Prosecutor and Batangas 2nd District Rep. Gerville "Jinky Bitrics" Luistro clarified that the impeachment trial against Vice President Sara Duterte remains "very much alive" following the Senate's decision to remand the articles of impeachment back to Congress.

Luistro pointed out that the Senate itself stated that the VP'S CASE is not dismissed nor terminated, leaving her and other House Prosecutors puzzled as to why the Upper Chamber returned the impeachment case.
