Philippians 1:6 says He who began a good work in you will carry it to completion. He started something in you. He does not abandon what He starts. 🙏

Possibly the most honest five words in the entire book of Psalms.

David did not say "I am never afraid." He said "when I am afraid." He assumed the fear would come.

He just made a decision about what to do with it: "I put my trust in You."

Faith is not the absence of fear. It is the choice to trust God in the presence of it.

If you are afraid of something right now then this verse is your permission to feel it and trust Him anyway.

If that is you today, this prayer is for you. God sees the exact number in your account. He knows the exact amount of the bill. And He is still God of more than enough.

The Bible tells us "fear not" roughly 365 times.

That is once for every single day of the year.

God knew fear would come for you. He knew there would be days when the anxiety hits before you even get out of bed. Days when the news is bad. Days when you are not sure how things are going to work out.

And before any of those days arrived, He already put the answer in His Word.

He did not say "fear not" once and move on. He said it over and over because He knew you would need to hear it more than once.

So whatever you are afraid of today, hear it again: Fear not.

Not because the situation is fine. But because He is with you in it.

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God." Isaiah 41:10 🙏
