Something interesting is quietly taking shape along the CALAX Subsection 2 corridor in General Trias, Cavite.

Some bored piling activities seen within the alignment, particularly near the Tierra Vista GenTri area.

Activity suggests continuing development preparations within this rapidly growing side of General Trias and along the future CALAX corridor.

Steel girder installation is now visible on several spans of the future EDSA on ramp to Skyway. This view also gives us a better idea of how the existing EDSA - Magallanes ramp will eventually transition into the new elevated Skyway connection once the project is completed.

Spotted along Skyway Stage 1 Northbound near the Arca South area "SEMME Ramp" marking painted on the parapet wall. Clearing activities are also visible within portions of the West Service Road Arca South corridor.

Another "SEMME Ramp" marking can be seen further ahead before the C5 Road overpass, adding to the visible developments along this section of Skyway Stage 1.

Contrary to circulating reports, the San Jose del Monte (SJDM) Station remains part of the MRT-7 project and 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭.

According to the Department of Transportation, MRT-7 will still operate with a total of 14 stations.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝟏𝟐 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭, 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕, 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐉𝐃𝐌 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟖.

This confirms that the line will eventually extend to its originally planned terminus in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, although the final two stations will open at a later date as part of a phased implementation.

Despite the rain tonight, work continues at the NLEX 8.2 | NLEX C5 Link Project, particularly along Span P3 - P4.

As seen in the photo, concrete pumps are already in position and ready for the scheduled concrete pouring activities.

The dedicated project team and contractors remain on site, working extended hours to push forward with the construction of Section 1A.

Even on erratic weather, progress continues as efforts are being made to bring this infrastructure project closer to completion.
