From Little Chef to Musician 🎹✨

Today, I want to share a beautiful part of our Autism journey.

When he was little, he was extremely sensitive to different flavors and textures. Eating was a challenge—but instead of being discouraged, he learned how to mix ingredients in his own way. He discovered a love for cooking, and eventually turned it into a small business. 🍳👨‍🍳

He was also sensitive to sound. Noises would hurt his ears, and he'd often cover them for comfort. But in the midst of that challenge, he found his love for music. He started learning the piano, slowly discovering the joy of creating sound that soothes rather than overwhelms.

Today, he sometimes goes busking in the mall, sharing his gift with others. And now, he's dreaming bigger—manifesting that one day, he’ll play piano and serve in the music ministry at our church.

Autism is not a disability—it’s a different ability. 💙
Once their gifts are unlocked, you'll be amazed at how far they can go.

Tell me your daughter is a librarian without telling me your daughter is a librarian.

So my father went to Singapore… guess where he first went sightseeing? Not a theme park, not a mall—but a library! 📚

He visited Singapore’s first themed library on Chinese arts and culture fully supported by philanthropic funds and run by volunteers through a self-service model.

And of course, si Popcy nagbasa pa talaga ng libro sa loob.
