“Tungo sa Dapithapon” by Sipol Production was named Overall Best Documentary at the 2026 Dokyultura Atbp. Rawnd 3 on Wednesday, April 8.

Meanwhile, “Sa Dulo ng Agos” by Liktunghay Production was named 1st Runner-Up and also took home Best Cinematography, while “Gintong Bitbitin” by Salaia Films secured 2nd Runner-Up and Best Poster.

The official list of winners per category for this year's festival is as follows:

• Best Poster – Gintong Bitbitin
• Best Trailer – Tungo sa Dapithapon
• Best Editing – Tungo sa Dapithapon
• Best Cinematography – Sa Dulo ng Agos
• Best Sound Design – Tungo sa Dapithapon
• Best Script – Tungo sa Dapithapon
• Best Research – Tungo sa Dapithapon
• Best Documentary Host – Tungo sa Dapithapon
• Best Director – Tungo sa Dapithapon

The event concludes this year’s Dokyultura, paving the way for its anticipated rebrand next year, continuing its celebration of student storytelling and documentary excellence.

DOKYULTURA RAWND 3🎬

Dokyultura Atbp. successfully featured six documentaries for its third edition, showcasing the works of third-year Journalism students from the College of Arts and Letters (CAL) at the BulSU E-Library Amphitheater, April 8.

Featured documentaries include Mula sa Kaitaasan (Lihimlaw Productions), Tungo sa Dapithapon (Sipol Productions), Gintong Bitbitin (Salaia Films), Sa Dulo ng Agos (Liktunghay Productions), Lukso’t Punto (Sidlangan Productions), and Paninap ning Manyulipet (Tudla’t Tala Productions).

The awarding ceremony is set to take place during the afternoon session of the event.

NEWS | It is not unknown that the Philippines—although not in the top ten with highest debts, has a big amount that they owe to the World Bank and neighboring countries.

As of end of February 2026, the Bureau of the Treasury (BTr) reported that the Philippine's national government's outstanding debt climbed up to PHP18.16 trillion—citing the influence of continuous shifts in the global market along with the financing activities, a huge jump from the previous PHP 18.133 trillion recorded as of early end of January 2026.
