CAPSU Mambusao Conducts 1st Quarter NSED

​Earlier today, the CAPSU Mambusao Satellite College community—including faculty, staff, and students—united for the 1st Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED).

​The drill was successfully spearheaded by our DRRM Chair/DRRM Helper Adviser, Dr. Garbosa, and Co-Chair, Sir Espartero. A special thanks goes to the DRRM HELPER student organization, who served as dedicated facilitators. They guided evacuees through the essential "Duck, Cover, and Hold" protocols and ensured a safe, orderly building exit as soon as the sirens sounded.
​The entire exercise was executed with precision, lasting only about 5 minutes. The drill was officially terminated by our Satellite College Director and Incident Commander, Dr. Ramy Lloyd Lotilla.

𝗖𝗔𝗣𝗦𝗨 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 | 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗲-𝘁𝗼-𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗧𝘆𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗼𝐧 𝐔𝐰𝐚𝐧

In view of the DOST-PAGASA forecast on Typhoon Uwan and the potential risks of heavy rains, flooding, and unsafe travel across Western Visayas, Capiz State University (CAPSU) suspends all face-to-face classes at all campuses and satellite colleges on November 10, 2025.

All classes will shift to asynchronous mode to ensure the continuity of learning while prioritizing the safety of life and property.

However, campuses and satellite colleges situated in local government units (LGUs) where class and work suspensions have been officially declared shall observe and comply with the said directive.
