Mayor Sebastian “Baste” Duterte’s reaction on Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief PGen. Nicolas Torre III's "back to you" comment when he questioned the latter's appointment as new PNP chief:
“Puwedeng mali ko na two stars niambak, basta kay niambak. So, why compare himself to Bato (Sen. Ronald dela Rosa)? Let me just point out a difference. Si Bato kung miambak man siya sa promotion, it is because it was to fight drugs and criminality. Si Torre niambak siya ug position because he is there to persecute those who are against drugs and criminality. So, what does that say about this administration? Kulang na lang ingnon nimo you are promoting drugs and criminality and you are grooming pushers and narco-politicians. Unsa to? Back to you!”
