God knows...
God knows I'm tired, even when I keep telling everyone I'm fine.
He hears the prayers I no longer have words for, only sighs between my breaths.
He sees the nights I cried myself to sleep and still forced myself to get up and try again the next morning.
He knows I'm tired of being the strong one, the one who holds everyone else together while I'm quietly falling apart inside.
He knows the difference between laziness and weariness, and He sees the invisible battles I've been fighting alone.
He knows I'm exhausted from starting over, from rebuilding the same broken pieces, from carrying hope when it feels heavy in my hands.
He knows I'm tired of waiting, of trusting through delays, of believing when my heart feels empty.
He counts every tear I've swallowed and every thought I've been too weary to voice out loud.
He knows I'm dragging yesterday into today because I don't know how to lay it down on my own.
I'm not asking Him for instant answers right now, I'm just asking Him to sit with me in this tired place and not leave. He knows my strength ends where His begins, and that is the only reason I haven't completely given up.
God knows I'm tired in my bones, in my soul, not just in my body, and He is still gentle with me.
So I will rest in Him tonight, not because I am strong, but because He never gets tired of carrying me.
