As Rizal Technological University welcomed researchers and scholars from different parts of the world for the 9𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗦𝗥 & 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 and the 2𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, RTU Kultura Rizalia proudly took part in the celebration through a performance showcasing the richness of the Filipino culture.

Through performances of Awit ng Lupa, Jota Manileña, and Tinikling, the troupe shared a glimpse of the country's various cultural identity with our international guests. The experience became even more meaningful as visiting researchers joined the Tinikling demonstration, creating a moment of cultural exchange that transcended nationalities and backgrounds.

Kultura Rizalia is honored to have showcased the talent of RTU students while providing our guests with a memorable cultural immersion. We extend our gratitude to the international delegates for embracing our traditions and celebrating with us the lively and rich spirit of Filipino culture.

RTU Kultura Rizalia is deeply grateful to have been part of the 128th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Independence Day. Performing a modern choreography to the Bagong Pilipinas Hymn alongside our fellow NCR State University dance troupes was a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we move as one.

On June 7, 2026, RTU Kultura Rizalia, together with Himig Rizalia and Dulaang Rizalia, had the privilege of being part of 𝗞𝘂𝗯𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮: 𝗔 𝗡𝗼𝗹𝗶 𝗠𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 held at Okada Manila. Inspired by one of the most celebrated literary works in Philippine history, the event transformed the evening into a showcase of elegance and tradition.

Kultura Rizalia contributed to the program through performances of Pipit, Jota Manileña, and a special Modern Dance segment. Through music, movement, and storytelling, the performances complemented the event's vision of an immersion through the famous literary while honoring our culture.

The troupe is deeply honored to have been entrusted as part of this remarkable occasion and to have shared the stage with individuals who value the beauty of Filipino traditions and artistic expression. We extend our sincere gratitude to Ms. Marionne Danielle and the organizers for the opportunity to showcase the talent and artistry of RTU Kultura Rizalia in an event that celebrated culture, creativity, and timeless elegance.

For 128 years, Philippine Independence has stood as a reminder of a nation's courage, resilience, and an endless pursuit of freedom. It is a legacy carried not only through history books and monuments, but also through the traditions and cultural expressions that continue to unite Filipinos across generations.

In celebration of the 128𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆 on June 12, 2026, RTU Kultura Rizalia proudly joined the celebration at 𝗦𝗠 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝘀 𝗣𝗶ñ𝗮𝘀, bringing Filipino culture to life through performances of Awit ng Lupa, Binasuan, Tinikling, and Noypi.

The RTU Kultura Rizalia is deeply grateful for SM Center Las Piñas for the opportunity to be part of this meaningful celebration and to share the artistry and talent of RTU students with the wider community. One hundred twenty-eight years ago, on June 12, 1898, the Philippine flag was unfurled for the first time as the nation proclaimed its freedom before the world. More than a century later, that same spirit of patriotism continues to live on—not only in the pages of history, but in every Filipino who proudly carries the story of our nation forward.

On June 12, 2026, thousands gathered at the Quirino Grandstand for the celebration of the 128𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆, a national commemoration honoring the sacrifices, courage, and enduring aspirations of the Filipino people. Among the thousands of performers from different parts of the country who took part in this historic occasion was 𝗥𝗧𝗨 𝗞𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮 𝗥𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮, proudly representing the talents of its students from Rizal Technological University.

Standing on a stage that symbolizes the nation's collective memory, the troupe joined fellow artists in bringing to life the colors, traditions, and stories that continue to define Filipino identity. More than a performance, it was a tribute to the generations who fought for freedom and to the Filipinos who continue to shape the nation's future.

Kultura Rizalia is deeply honored and grateful to have been part of a national celebration that pays homage to our independence and shared identity as Filipinos. As we celebrate this historic milestone, the troupe looks forward to continuing its mission of preserving and promoting Philippine culture through future performances and opportunities to serve the nation through the arts.
