Throwback to my school’s entrance ceremony in Japan 10 years ago. 📚🎌🌸🇯🇵
A decade ago, I stepped into a new life in Japan.
Both of my parents were there, proud and smiling, unaware of how deeply their presence that day would shape the rest of my life. These two incredible souls are the reason I am who I am today. They supported me in silence and in storms. They are, and always will be, my biggest fans.
It’s because of them that I have this deep desire to help others, especially those chasing their dreams of working in Japan. Since 2009, my parents have been doing just that, building a bridge for Filipinos to find opportunities in Japan through our Japanese language school and recruitment agency. Though the agency has since closed due to unforeseen circumstances, the impact they made lives on.
Our school and agency was filled not just with applicants, trainees, and students, but with stories, dreams, and second chances. My parents treated everyone like family. In return, many came to see them not just as mentors, but as second parents. That kind of love and care can’t be faked. It is genuine, and it inspired many.
Helping others is more than a mission for us. It's a legacy. It’s something passed down especially from my mom’s side of the family. It’s the kind of inheritance that can’t be measured by wealth, but by the number of lives touched. And now, it’s my turn to continue what they started. The joy of seeing someone succeed, that’s our true reward. After all, we are only instruments of God’s grace.
My mother always told us, “Help if you are in the position to help. That is your purpose.” That teaching has stayed with me every step of the way.
And while I haven’t spoken to my dad for nearly four years due to personal differences, nothing can ever erase what he has taught me. He remains one of my greatest mentors, one I quietly honor despite our distance.
To my mom, my forever role model, not just as a mother to her children, but as a mother figure to many. Her love, patience, and strength inspires me every day.
I am beyond blessed to have been raised by such selfless and compassionate parents. Whatever good I do today, it’s because of what I saw in them. This is our legacy, and I will carry it forward with all my heart. 🙇♀️🌸🥰❤️
P.S. I may have a sharp tongue and act playful at times, but I’m someone you can trust. Like my dad, I can be direct and a bit strict, but behind that is a soft heart that truly cares. 🤗💕
