After a day of dark skies, heavy rains and strong winds brought by typhoon Tino, I feel such joy and relief seeing the sun shine again. Despite the typhoon’s passing, my garden is filled with life — blossoms are blooming beautifully, and the sight of them brings me hope and gratitude.

To top it all, our backyard rewarded us with an abundant harvest of papayas! Nature truly has its way of showing resilience and grace after every storm. Thank you Lord 🌿🌸🍃

Yesterday’s unplanned visit to a charming arts and crafts store/cafe filled me with so much joy and inspiration.

Surrounded by rows of beautiful yarns, I was amazed at how creativity always finds its way into my heart, that I Clcouldn’t resist grabbing a few colorful yarns for my next crochet adventures.

Each skein I brought home holds the promise of new crochet stories waiting to be created.

Imagine walking through a garden and suddenly stopping in - because right there, in front of you, hanging from a small banana plant, is an enormous bundle of fruit. Not just a regular bunch, but a massive “bulig” of bananas, stretching down like nature’s chandelier.

That was our experience!! We felt a mix of wonder and disbelief. It’s almost surreal—how can something quite heavy and abundant be dangling so effortlessly? We instinctively step closer, taking in the way the fruit curves in layers, some still green while others are slowly ripening to yellow. There’s a quiet power in the scene, like nature flexing without trying.

It’s the kind of sight that’s truly amazing — something both majestic and oddly humbling. The amazement isn’t just about the size, but the sense that this plant produced something so generous, so alive, and so strangely beautiful.
