𝗚𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗽 𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗸𝗮-𝟮𝟴 𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗴𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘄𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝘂𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗶𝗸𝗮 𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗮𝗼𝗻 𝗻𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗴 “𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗮 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗮𝘁 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗶𝗸𝗮: 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗮𝘀𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗸𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗮 𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗮,” 𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗼 𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗴-𝗮𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗗𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗽𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗺𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗮 𝘀𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝗸𝗮 𝗮𝘁 𝗸𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮.

Ang programa ay pinangunahan nina G. Leander Solomon at Bb. Patricia Mae Concepcion bilang mga tagapagpadaloy ng buong selebrasyon.

Bilang panimulang bahagi, nagsagawa ng picture taking kasama si Dr. Romae De Asis at ang mga kinatawan at mga g**o mula sa iba’t ibang departamento—COTE, Criminology, CBAT. COM, at High School. Eksaktong alas–8:58 ng umaga, binigyang-buhay ng Glee Club ang pag-awit ng Lupang Hinirang at sinundan ng taimtim na panalangin na nagpatibay sa diwa ng pagkakaisa.

Pagkatapos nito, nagbigay ng nakapagpupugay na pambungad na pananalita si Gng. Erlie Quirimit, g**o ng Filipino, na nagpaalala sa kahalagahan ng patuloy na paggamit, pagpapaunlad, at pagpapahalaga sa ating sariling wika. Ipinakilala rin ang mga naging hurado ng patimpalak—sina G. Richard A. Reyes, G. Jay Evangelista, at Bb. Marivic Vespiras—na nagsilbing gabay sa pagbibigay ng patas at makabuluhang hatol sa mga kalahok.

Nagbigay kasiglahan sa gitna ng programa ang intermisyon mula sa Dance Club at Glee Club, bago isinagawa ang pormal na pagbibigay ng sertipiko ng pasasalamat sa mga hurado. Kaakibat nito ay ang pagpapakilala sa mga Dean’s Listers para sa ikalawang semestre ng taong akademiko 2024-2025, na nagbigay inspirasyon sa mga mag-aaral na nagsusumikap sa kani-kanilang larangan.

Isa sa mga pinakahinintay ng lahat ay ang pagkilala sa mga nagwagi sa iba’t ibang patimpalak. Sa kategoryang Sanaysay, itinanghal na kampeon si Jezibel Bautista mula sa Criminology. Sa Pinta-Husay, namukod-tangi ang obra ni Shania Janelle Prestoza ng COTE. Sa Balagtasan, ipinamalas ang talino at husay sa pagtula nina Bb. Erica Janna Igros, G. Norman Velasco, at Bb. Robelyn De Vera ng COTE. Sa larangan naman ng Dagliang Talumpati, si Elaine Batister ng CBAT.COM ang nanguna sa pagbibigay ng makahulugang talumpati. Nag-ukit din ng pangalan sina Aldrin Velasquez at Rosa Mia Barte ng COTE matapos magwagi sa kategoryang Harana. At sa huli, kinilala ang COTE bilang panalo sa Sabayang Pagbigkas matapos ipamalas ang sabayang lakas ng tinig at damdamin sa kanilang pagtatanghal.

Sa kabuuan, ang buong pagdiriwang ay nagsilbing paalala na ang Filipino at mga katutubong wika ay hindi lamang paraan ng pakikipagtalastasan, kundi buhay na sagisag ng ating kultura, kasaysayan, at pagkakaisa bilang isang bansa. Mula sa masiglang pag-awit, makabayang pagbigkas, malikhaing sining, at makabuluhang paligsahan, tunay na naipadama ng bawat kalahok na ang ating sariling wika ay dapat ipagmalaki at ipagpatuloy na payabungin.

The program officially opened with the vibrant hosting of Ms. Diane Kyla Biandilla and Mr. Reneboy Lozada. One of the most memorable moments of the night was the induction of the new SSC and Club officers, where Ms. Mekaella Molina took her oath as SSC President, followed by the symbolic turnover of the key of responsibility from the outgoing president, Frennie Myka Alcantara.

As the music started, the crowd lit up during Dance and Groove, with students showing off their best moves and pure joy filling the venue. The energy soared even higher when Prof. Krisia Fae De Asis-Hernaez, Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, delivered a heartfelt message, encouraging the students to embrace the year ahead and to enjoy the rest of the event.

The fun continued with exciting parlor games that drew cheers and laughter from the audience, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie that perfectly captured the spirit of the MDC community.

The evening reached its grand highlight with the announcement of the Met Gala: Glitz & Glam winners by Prof. Krisia Fae De Asis-Hernaez. Prof. Hernaez announced the winners per category, and they are; Matt Guillermo E. Usoria of the College of Teacher Education (COTE) and Kimberly Talamillo, also from COTE, for winning the Most Creative Attire award. She also recognized Jhustin Merk Bautista of COTE and Vanessa Cendaña of the College of Business Administration, Tourism, and Computer Science (CBAT.COM) as Best Dressed of the night. The title of Face of the Night was awarded to Keven Manuel and Rainylyn Alvarado, both from CBAT.COM, while the much-anticipated crowns of Mr. and Ms. Acquaintance 2025 were bestowed upon Ed-Denver A. Langit of the College of Criminology and Rosemary Columbre of COTE.

In her closing remarks, the former SSC President Frennie Myka Alcantara proudly presented expressed her gratitude to the MDC community and reminded everyone that beyond the glitz and glamor, the real essence of the evening was the unity and joy. With smiles, laughter, and shining moments, the acquaintance party ended as a truly magical night to remember. 🌟

The Commission on Higher Education undertook a comprehensive evaluation mission to MDC, focusing on assessing and improving the institution's overall performance and excellence.

📍Instructions for voting

1. Election is on August 11, 2025, and will start at 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at Metro-Dagupan Colleges Executive Building waiting area.

2. Only the students of Metro-Dagupan Colleges who are enrolled for the S.Y. 2025-2026 of first semester are eligible to vote. Bring your yellow form to confirm enrolment.

3. Proceed to the Waiting area in front the executive building and the Election Committee will assist in voting.

4. After voting, proceed to the exit for the indelible ink.
