“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Acknowledge Him and He shall make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6
Many years ago I surrendered my life to Jesus. My hopes, dreams, plans etc. I saw where my own wisdom got me and it wasn’t good because I just ended up being sad, lonely, empty and alone. But one day I gave my life to Jesus, trusted His plans and made decisions based on His word, and this is where He has gotten me so far. I don’t know where I would be if I continued to follow my own self. And to be honest it doesnt matter anymore. Asides from surrendering my all to Christ, this was the best day of my life. Not only did I meet the one person created for me; I got to marry her too. I got God’s best for me. No way I could have planned this or got this on my own. Marrying was straight from Gods hand.
This is a special shot because that hand raise to the sky was for Him. He has seen me through a lot; lots of heart ache, pain and disappointments. But that fist in the air was my heart saying “God you did it. You actually did it.” ❤️
