“Panget na nga, nangaliwa pa.”
Familiar? Viral? Oo. Masakit pero totoo.
And minsan, may mga babae pa na feeling empowered —
pero nakatago sa ngiting peke,
habang tinatawanan ang pagkabigo ng kapwa babae.
Let’s be real.
That’s not women empowerment.
That’s insecurity dressed up in fake confidence.
That’s not strength — that’s shade.
True empowerment isn’t built by breaking others down.
It’s not rooted in gossip, competition, or comparison.
It’s rising without stepping on anyone.
Kung ang confidence mo ay galing sa paninira,
baka hindi ka empowered — baka mas kailangan mo ng healing, besh.
Hindi mo kailangang pabagsakin ang iba
para lang maramdaman mong mataas ka.
Empowered women empower women.
They don’t laugh at someone’s heartbreak.
They don’t celebrate failure behind subtle smirks.
They support, they uplift — even when no one’s watching.
And to those who’ve been hurt,
it’s not your fault.
You are not “kulang,”
You are not “panget.”
Ang mali ay ‘yung piniling magloko
kahit meron nang totoo at buo.
So here’s to real queens —
those who heal instead of hurt,
who rise without ruining others,
who stay kind even when life gets cruel.
Real empowerment isn’t loud — it’s lasting.
And it starts with grace, respect, and self-love.
