Today, we celebrate the feast day of 𝗦𝘁. 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗼 𝗔𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘀, the first millennial saint and the youngest saint in the Catholic Church. Known as the 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘁, Carlo was a faithful and tech-savvy teenager who used his love for computers to create a lasting impact by sharing Eucharistic miracles online. His deep faith and kindness remind us that no matter our age or the tools we use, we can all be instruments of God’s love in the world.

Let St. Carlo inspire us to embrace technology responsibly and spread hope, compassion, and faith in our daily lives, especially in the digital age. 🌟

His dissertation, “The Catholic Excellence Identity Scales: Development and Validation Based on the Philippine Catholic School Standards,” is a pioneering work that strengthens the identity and mission of Catholic schools in the Philippines.

People tend to forget that without a stable mind, pain would be afflicted not just to your head-but to your body as well. Even if the signs aren't as obvious as we try to make them be, they're still there; haunting; hidden behind fabrications we force ourselves to uphold.

Without mental recovery, what effort should a person who hadn't gained the help they needed place into a life that doesn't seem befitting to them? We only live once, so let's take a moment and speak to the people who are suffering in aching silence. Even a wilting flower can be saved if given the right support they need.

Malate Catholic School held its annual Student Leadership Formation Camp, “Duc in Altum,” on October 3–4, 2025, gathering student leaders for two days of faith-centered formation and leadership training. Through talks, activities, and reflections, participants were guided to lead with compassion, humility, and purpose. Highlighted by sessions from guest speakers, Atty. Winona Dingal, Mr. James Rainz Morales, and Dr. Bryan Gallos, the camp inspired students to embody Christ-centered leadership rooted in service, integrity, and faith.

As we reflect on Luke 11:1–4, Jesus teaches us to pray and to call God our Father. Through this, He reminds us that prayer is more than words—it is an active relationship with God that transforms our lives. Prayer fosters a loving intimacy with our Creator—our first and forever love—who guides, heals, and sanctifies us. Jesus invites us to grow in this deep and personal closeness with the Father.

But do we truly reveal our hearts to God? When we reflect on the Our Father, we realize it is a summary of Jesus’ own life and mission. His life and prayer are in perfect harmony. He not only taught us to love the Father but lived that love fully, even when it was considered a scandalous idea in His time. Jesus calls us to make it our life’s goal to belong to God’s Kingdom.

God’s Kingdom is not a grand palace or mansion—it is a dwelling within the heart. Jesus’ mission was to live in complete obedience to His Father in Heaven. God, our forgiving Father, is rich in mercy and compassion, always ready to welcome His children home. Jesus satisfied not only the physical hunger of the five thousand but also the hunger for love and attention, revealing Himself as the Bread of Life.

In Jesus, there is perfect unity between prayer and action. Every decision, every deed reflected His connection with the Father. We, too, are called to emulate this unity. True prayer does not separate us from others; rather, it binds us closer—to God and to our neighbor.

If we are truly intimate with God, we must also live in solidarity with one another. To pray sincerely means to bring before God the needs, joys, and sorrows of all people. In doing so, we draw nearer to them—and therefore, nearer to Him.
