My thoughts attending today's House of Representatives "Tri-Com" Hearing:

1. Thank you for the invitation, which was sent by Committee Chair Rep. Terry Ridon. Nung natanggap ko ang imbitasyon, hindi ko alam kung bakit o kung makakatulong ba talaga ako, pero siyempre pag naimbitahan doon hangga't maaari dapat pumunta ka;

2. Pasensya na sa mga ka-meeting ko dapat kanina, napostpone po muna tayo. 1pm na ako nakapagpa-excuse sa Chairman.

3. May mga Cong na nagsabi na magtatanong pa sila sa akin, pero sa dami ng kailangan talakayin ng committee ,kinapos na sa oras.

4. I understand the need to focus on the conduct of investigations right now. 🔵🔵🔵 But at the right time, I hope we can also discuss long-term REFORMS that could minimize chances for corruption. Just some top of mind examples:
➡ Stop widespread + illegal subcontracting;
➡ FOI/full disclosure of DPWH documents including POWs, BOQs, DUPAs, and bid docs;
➡ DPWH-LGU alignment and coordination;
➡ Infrastructure/construction monitoring;
➡ PCAB accreditation process.

5. We have to admit that it is becoming increasingly difficult to DISCERN THE TRUTH. There are powerful groups at play here; it's not as simple as we would want to believe.

6. Regarding Curlee Discaya... Pakinggan niyo na lang siya nang maigi at kayo na ang maghusga. Clearly caught in his own "Curlee's Web" of lies.

7. Regarding the DPWH engineers from Bulacan. Although outside of my jurisdiction, the photos of money were very powerful. Pero hindi lang daw sa isang distrito ganyan.

Naalala ko 2016, 2017 madalas kong nakukuwento sa mga kabataan ang naririnig ko nun na nasa 20% daw ang "SOP" so pag kinompute mo ay aabot talaga sa bilyon-bilyon. Madalas nun, parang di naniniwala ang mga nakakarinig. Ngayon, alam na natin. nakita na natin. nagigising ang taumbayan. Widespread knowledge on the matter is the best first step in reducing corruption.

Whether you are a student , retiree, or anything in between, we all have a part to play. Keep pushing and keep demanding better.
