Hong Kong Introduces ‘Mandatory Happiness’ Law
Citizens Must Smile or Face Penalty
HONG KONG – In a move that has left citizens both bewildered and terrified, the Hong Kong government has passed the “Mandatory Happiness Ordinance,” a groundbreaking law requiring all residents to maintain a cheerful expression in public at all times. Those caught frowning, sighing, or displaying anything less than unwavering joy will face fines, mandatory happiness training, or, in extreme cases, exile to the “Department of Attitude Adjustment.”
