A couple of months ago, a client of mine unexpectedly passed away due to a stroke, leaving behind his wife and young family. His untimely passing affected not only affected his loved ones and friends but also myself.

My last chat with him was in December 2024 where I did a regular annual review of his policies, reported on his current investments, and talked about his plans for the very near future. I knew him as someone who was happy and content, so the news of his untimely passing did affect me as well.

I now had the task of advising his wife, who is also my client, on the next steps. The claims were submitted on June 26 and, as of yesterday, all the proceeds were given to them.

The legacy he leaves behind for his young family has truly shown that "I've got you, no matter what".
