I still can't fully wrap my head around it. When I decided to self-publish Chronically Brave, I wasn't sure anyone would care. I had no big publishing house behind me, no marketing team — just a story I needed to tell, and a prayer that it would find the right people.

And yet, here I am. Third batch and I am overwhelmed in the best way possible. Thank you doesn't feel like enough, but thank You Lord. And thank YOU, who ordered, supported and prayed with me. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

I'm still praying — that this book keeps reaching the hands of those who need it most. That it finds the person who is quietly fighting, struggling to understand, and needs to know they are not alone. That it finds its way to someone who will help carry it further, to a bigger audience, to wider conversations about chronic illness and autoimmune diseases, and daily fight for bravery.

I believe in word of mouth. I believe in community. I believe that stories heal.

And if God allows it — there's more coming. A next book! Maybe merchandise? All of it part of something bigger than me — an advocacy for everyone living with an invisible illness, the kind the world doesn't always see.

For now, I'm just grateful. Deeply, quietly, overwhelmingly grateful. 🙏🏼

Batch 3 Paperback Orders Are Officially OPEN! 📖

I had to take a short, necessary pause on print orders while navigating a busy season—from going through schooling and adjusting to a new work role, to diving deeper into life coaching and making quality time for family commitments. Life happens, but every season brings fresh growth!

Chronically Brave doesn't mean doing everything at once.
Sometimes it means knowing what to carry and what to set down for a season.

But I'm back. And apparently (doing a happy dance!) there is still a demand for my book.

As I came up for air after a busy season, it dawned on me—
The first batch sold out. The second batch sold out.

As a first-time, self-published author who wrote this book in waiting rooms, between diagnoses, through seasons of doubt so heavy I nearly quit, this is yet another leap of faith. With God's grace — I am opening a THIRD batch.

Because I am certain God doesn't waste a story.

When I printed the first batch of Chronically Brave paperbacks
I was anxious and terrified no one would want them. I had limited funds and had to raise extra to make it happen. And then these first few copies sold out before I could breathe.

This allowed me to get a second batch printed. And now I am down to about 1 copy left from that batch.

I don't have words for what that feels like except — grace.
Pure, overwhelming, undeserved grace.

These are some of the people who made it happen. Some, I do not have photos yet, but their names are all etched in my heart.

Real people. Real hands. Real faith that a story about invisible battles deserved to be held in a real book.

Right now, I am in the middle of praying so a third batch is possible, which means I am opening another batch for pre-order.

Holding the first print copy of Chronically Brave today feels entirely surreal. I spent this morning turning the pages while sitting in the car on the way to another health appointment—a poignant reminder of exactly why this book had to be written.

To every woman fighting a battle in the quiet, to everyone holding onto faith when the body feels weak: this is for you.

My prayer today is that God breathes on this book. May the ultimate Waymaker carry these words across miles and borders, landing them directly into the hands of those who need a touch of hope and a reminder of their own divine resilience.
