Sharing Bible verses online is easy. You can post them anytime for everyone to see. But really living what the Bible teaches is much harder. It means being patient, kind, and humble, even when others upset you.

Faith is not shown by the verses we share, but by how we treat people every day. True spirituality is seen in our actions, loving, forgiving, and trying to do better. 🙏❤️

My honest opinion after 11 years connected to the Philippines, with about 8 years spent traveling around the country.

Main problem: accommodation is bad and overpriced.
I’m planning a motorcycle route in Vietnam from South to North. Almost everywhere there, you can sleep for $3–$4. $10 already feels like luxury.
In the Philippines, it’s hard to find anything under $10. The average is $25–$30, and the quality is usually terrible.

I remember sitting at White Beach in Puerto Galera with a resort owner. He showed me rooms priced at almost $100 per night. Inside, everything was broken — doors, toilet flush, fittings.
I told him, “Don’t be offended, but who is paying 5,000 pesos for that crap?”
His answer: “They come 15 people, so it’s cheap.” (sleeping on the floor and everywhere)
I asked why he doesn’t fix the rooms. He said, “It will be broken again in two weeks.”
That mindset explains a lot.

If I ride from Pagudpud to General Santos (north to south), the trip will cost me at least 30 times more than Vietnam, with more hassle and less comfort.

Another big issue: transportation.
If you don’t have your own transport (motorcycle), roaming around the Philippines can be a horror — slow connections, overpriced tricycles, limited public transport, and wasted time. Mobility here often feels like a struggle, not freedom.

Second issue: domestic flights are insanely expensive.
Not long ago, Manila–Siargao was close to $400.

Third issue: too many restrictions, no real freedom.
Hiking? Register at the barangay.
Simple trail? Mandatory guide.
Then come the fees: “local support” fee, environmental fee, parking fee, toilet fee, shower fee...
That’s why some foreigners call it Feelippines.

I love the Philippines. That’s why I’m still here.
But if tourism wants to improve, these problems need to be called out — not ignored.

What to Know Before You Start as a Small Content Creator

Starting as a small content creator can be exciting, but it is also a challenge. Before you begin, it is important to know a few things.

First, know your “why.” Ask yourself why you want to create content. Is it for fun, to share your ideas, or to earn money? Knowing your purpose will keep you motivated when growth is slow.

Second, understand that time and consistency are important. Success does not come overnight. Posting regularly helps people notice you. It is better to post less but with good quality than to post a lot without care.

Third, choose a niche you like. A niche is a topic you focus on. If you talk about something you love, your content will be better, and the right audience will follow you.

Fourth, be ready to learn. You might need to edit videos, make graphics, or understand social media. You will make mistakes, but that is part of learning.

Fifth, focus on engagement, not just numbers. Talk to your audience, reply to comments, and build a community. A small group of loyal followers is better than many people who do not care about your content.

Sixth, be mentally strong. Not everyone will like your content. Some people may criticize you. Do not compare yourself to big creators. Everyone starts small.

Seventh, understand that making money takes time. You can earn through ads, sponsorships, or selling things, but it usually does not happen immediately.

Eighth, you do not need expensive equipment at first. A phone and free apps are enough. You can buy better tools later as you grow.

Finally, follow the rules. Do not copy others’ work and respect privacy. Avoid content that can get you banned.

In short, being a small content creator is fun but takes effort, patience, and learning. If you plan well and stay consistent, you can grow and enjoy the journey.

The wind was very strong, making loud noises and shaking the windows. Rain fell hard, and the streets became full of water. During the typhoon, everything felt scary and chaotic. The lights went out, and the house was dark except for flashes of lightning outside.

I felt afraid but also amazed by the storm. I could hear the trees moving, the roof making sounds, and the rain hitting the walls. It was hard to sleep, and every minute felt long. The storm showed me how small we are, but also how strong we can be when we stay together.

Even though it was scary, there was hope. Families stayed close, neighbors helped each other, and people prayed. After the storm passed, the world became quiet and wet. Experiencing a typhoon is frightening, but it also shows human care and strength. After it ends, I feel grateful for safety, home, and loved ones.
