“Your queen very few followers,” Nawat jokingly said to the MGI national director of the Philippines. When the joke was said, Angelica had around 70k Instagram followers.

But the thing is— it wasn’t really a joke, and the national director knew it, which prompted him to request Filipino pageant fans to follow Angelica’s page. Now, she has 88k followers, closing in to that 100k target.

Just so you know— if you don’t know yet— Nawat doesn’t crown a girl with few followers— at least in the last 5 editions. And by “few”, he means less than 100k. So, if you’re one of the complainers or häterz of Philippines (and Thailand and Vietnam), take a moment to check your bet’s Instagram followers. Good luck! Hahaha

[🇵🇭] Angelica Lopez () is 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. A beauty queen, model, singer, and artist, Angelica grew up surrounded by music through her musician parents, who inspired her passion for the arts while instilling in her the values of hard work and independence.

Beyond the spotlight, Angelica is also an entrepreneur and advocate. In 2021, she launched her own sandal business, while her passion for giving back led her to support underprivileged children since the age of 17. She also dreams of becoming a psychologist, hoping to use her future career to better understand and empower others.

For Angelica, her journey is a reminder that humble beginnings can become the foundation for something meaningful. As Miss Grand Philippines 2026, she hopes to inspire others to pursue their dreams, embrace who they are, and turn their own stories into positive impact.

Now, Angelica is ready to proudly represent the Philippines at Miss Grand International 2026 in Thailand, carrying with her a passion for creativity, compassion, and the desire to inspire others.

Congratulations, Angelica! We look forward to seeing you at Miss Grand International 2026. 👑

Its a slap to those who doubted her before when she crowned Miss World Philippines 2016,if she win and I claim it!!

✨ Royal blue - a color that denotes confidence, wisdom and royalty. Yet none of these attributes I claim on my own merit. When the world assigns honor to my name, may I always point upward to the One who is worthy of everything.

“You will be a crown of splendor in the Lord’s hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God.” Isaiah 62:3
