You really can't go wrong with playing a Falcom game let alone one from the Ys Series. This game like all other Ys games are very fun and offers a unique experience for each separate title.

It has been a long time since I played Ys 8 and Ys 9, but from those 3, this is the game that I enjoyed the most playing. Having 6 characters to control and play with are very fun don't get me wrong but there is just a sort of simplicity in knowing that you will use 2 charaters for the whole game. Knowing the joirney for the platinum in the Ys games there are trophies tied to how long you use characters, so there being 2 makes things a bit easier.

The story like the previous titles is gripping and exciting from the start, like Lacrimosa of Dana which also boasts a huge ensemble of characters each and every one has their quirks and things that you may find interesting and fun about them. Adding to the story is the wonderful soundtrack which just sets the right mood for every area.

The combat and overall gameplay experience is the staple, tried and tested mechanics from Ys Seven which is just as fun since.

Among the 3 Ys games I have played this is the fastest Platinum trophy that I got. This game is the 2nd game in ny regular play style that really reignited my love for playing games. This time I'll make sure to play the other titles in the series 😅

I thought the season would end on a comically generic happy ending, but they had me in the first half ngl. I guess this mean we have to wait for 3 more years for season 3? I hope not, because like season 1 this was a banger if not greater.

The new DCU is gping great so far and let's see if this continues on to its future projects. One thing that caught my attention this season was the episode runtimes, all of them if not most are bellow 40 minutes ( except the hour long finale ). I didn't notice the short runtime compared to other shows because it is just that good. Straight to the point story, while also developing characters in an effective manner.

Platinum Trophy #323: Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist

The sequel to Ender Lilies is just as amazing if not greater than it. They expanded upon the lore of the previous game while keeping the same identity that made the firat game captivating.

Platforming and exploration is still as fun as it was in the first game but made a bit more straightforward and easy to do. The combat mechanics are still there too, but IMO the bosses and enemies in Ender Lilies were harder and more grander than in the sequel.

The first game exceeded expectations in boss fights while the sequel exceeds in platforming and its mechanics. The soundtrack and environemnt is as beautiful as it was in the first game making you want to go back and play Ender Lilies again 😅

Platinum Trophy #322: Little Nightmares 2

The sequel to Little Nightmares! This time instead of only 1 character on screen there will be two, Mono and Six. Mono will be taking center stage here while six will play a supporting role.

Just like the first game, Little Nightmares 2 has 5 chapters. All of which are riddled with puzzles and collectibles, that are very easy to figure out and do.

This game contains about 35 trophies ( including the Platinum ) most of which are missable trophies that can be obtained with chapter select after you finish the game. Luckily there isn't a Hard to the core trophy in this game.... otherwise you'll be in for a rough journey again 😀.

100% Completion: Little Nightmares

A very short and straightforward game with a lot of basic puzzles and platforming. The trophy list is very simple too, only requiring you to get all the collectibles and finish all story chapters.

I almost forgot to mention Hard to the Core, the permadeath speedrun trophy of the game 😀. You have to complete a New Game file playthrough while trying to complete the game in under an hour... with no deaths 😀.

That last trophy was pretty fun to get 😀. Thank you master Rhye G. for lending me this game and for the challenge 😅

I am really glad that I took my sweet and precious time playing and exploring this game. This game really deserves more than 1 playthrough ( you'll know when you know ) because first IMO the default ending is the worst. Second, every playthrough you do I MEAN EVERY playthrough is a unique experience. You'll get new locations, new collectibles and items, new cutscenes and most important of all you will get to experience the full story of Silent Hill F.

As always with Silent Hill, you can expect an amazing soundtrack and this one just hits the right spots for me especially with the mix of OG Silent Hill vibes to Japanese songs.

For the combat experience, it is still as clunky as ever but in a good way IMO. I really enjoyed the combat on Story difficulty, but Lost in Fog is something else. Granted you can run away from enemies because there isn't a merit to fighting them, still when you run out of stamina or turn the wrong way... goodbye.

The story, after 4 1/4 playthroughs I can say that it is very interesting and engaging, because of the different setting ( the game being in Japan ). Yes it is very different from the Silent Hill that we all know and love but this game is still Silent Hill but it a new and reborn form. Even though I completed the game, some story aspects still bug and confuse me ( which means i get to read more lore! ) in a good and inquisitive way.

People may argue and outright reject this game as a Silent Hill game, but think about SH4: The room that isn't set in Silent Hill but people still learned to love and enjoy that game. Just think of this like being the start of something new and expansive to the Silent Hill universe. Like when Resident Evil left Raccoon City, the games after the OG trilogy are still RE games but in a new and expansive way.

This game is one of the best Horror games out there right now, and it'll be one that you don't want to miss out on. Playing this game only 1 time is a disservice to KONAMI Asia, Neobards and Silent Hill alltogether. just play and enjoy at your own pace. You'll never regret it.
